My ranking would be: 1) Pele Alifabolaget 2) Maradona 77 Disc. 3) Maradona 79 Calciatori 4) Messi 71bis

Yeah look at his TH-cam views for example. Compareable with Messi. Dinho's skill were one of a kind... people know that

@@justpositive4123 Ronaldinho is the one who started that Barcelona dynasty by winning their 1st CL title in 05-06.

A few notes about the baseball portion of this excellent video:
As you noted, the 1952 Topps Mantle was in the high series. As you mentioned, few were sold, a bunch of cases of the high series sat in the Topps factory for a few years before being dumped in the ocean. Interestingly, the Mantles were DOUBLE PRINTED, so they are twice as common as most of the other high series cards.
The 1952 wasn't the first Topps set. In 1951, Topps produced a playing-card style (red and blue versions) set with a limited player run. This set is the equivalent of the red-headed step child of the Topps family - despite being the first, it is not popular among collectors. The greatness of the 1952 Topps is that it set the bar very high for card production in terms of quality - effectively ushering in the modern baseball card era.
I think the Maradona is a closer parallel to the 52 Topps Mantle, while the 71bis seems closer to being like the 86 Fleer Jordan or 79 Gretzky.

Maradona def has a narrative - what do we choose?
A live wire that somehow was able to stay on the rails enough to win the World Cup and help Napoli succeed? Or the fact that Argentina lost the Faulk land islands to England and he symbolically got a win back for his country when he single handily eliminated England? Or having made the two MOST iconic goals in the history of the sport in the SAME GAME? Maradona def has narrative - and one more, Messi’s win was a revitalization of the psyche of Maradona and his ethos - it won’t be the case for any other country thus cementing his importance to seeing Messi reach “up to” Maradonas status … remember , Messi had to reach Maradonas status, not the other way around - had to unpack a lot, Maradona def has narrative

Great job on the extrapolation of Messi pop vs Mantle pop. Tricky question is comparing the demand side for both these cards!

I'd say the Ronaldinho Panini Campeonato Brasiliero 99 PSA 10 is number one.
