Thank you! 1:42 explains the purpose of using a diode parallel with the fan to prevent any damage from inductive current when disconnecting the battery.

need help sir. how can speed up or slow down a 12v fan using a thermistor.
    thank you

hi i am facing an issue where once connected the motor starts to run on its own and doesnt obey the arduino code. i am using a 12v battery and trying to run a dc motor with ir sensor

How do you select the value of the resistance in the base?

can i use this procedure with 2 or 3 motors

sir, why the power supply(9v)can connect to pin emitter after the load?_?

can I do this procedure using the 3-6V motor in the Arduino UNO kit?

Yes but you'll have to swap out the battery for another one tho, 9v is too high for a 3-6v motor

@@asali-channel So aslong as it doesn't exceed that 3-6V limit?

I’m using a 12V dc motor. When in the LOW state the motor still runs but slowly. How do I make it stop completely?

Have you copied my schematic? The diode and npn transistor are required to make the 12v dc motor come to a full stop, perhaps your diode is facing the wrong direction. I advise you to watch the video again and follow step by step!

    Which resistor are u using

Why is the motor connected to positive twice?

No shit you want us to buy the starter kit, you get a much bigger kickback.

Hi. Good idea and don't work, on video from 0 to 100% and back, going too fast, like as switch on/off, on this project if change arduino code to on/off transistor, you got same effect ;) PC Fan not work with speed control on this project..
