1st rifle, springer, 1974, BSA Mercury, great days, over the fields the back of my house, miles of woodland and farmland.. No sitting in a bedroom for 10 hours a day playing on the computer back then...
I'm now 60 and have been shooting since I was 15,and found that the zeroing of a rifle/pellet testing is a great way of getting to know your gun. Great review.
Nice vid again guys. Everything affects a springer; temperature humidity, cold barrel when you start so you need a few shots, how you hold them, barrel cleaning. Sometimes feels like even the day of the week. But that’s then fun of them and they’re not living with the gunsmith half their lives as a bonus. Fond ones, Baz.
My dad bought me my first rifle , 1976 i think , a crosman 766 pump , and then a weihrauch hw35 about a year later , and my love for airguns has never left me ! Love the videos guys keep them coming 😀
My first rifle back into sport was a gamo whisper sting. Its a lovely rifle, accurate, easy to cock and light which helped me as I'm disabled. I would put a scope on it,if your a newcomer to shooting.you dont have to spend a fortune on one, and it will give you great enjoyment and fun, plus accuracy for plinking and hitting targets. As for pellets I did a bit of testing and my one loves bsa interceptors. Hope this helps.😊
Bought my first rifle second-hand from a schoolmate in 1973. A Webley .177" break-barrel, about 6 ft-lb and really accurate. Recoil never an issue as my other shooting experience at the time was firearms in the RAF cadets. Happy days. 😀
Take the trigger adjustment screw out and replace with a longer 2.5mm screw and improve the trigger no end! Do the same to the gamo boxer and go from a single stage trigger to a fairly nice 2 stage job… just don’t over do it and make them dangerous!
The 766 paired up.with a little 4x20 scope was the 1st rifle i bought around 1977 followed by the hw35. Hardly missed a target with the crosman. Didnt realise at the time i was such a good shot due to it being recoiless

A great (and cheap) way to get into the sport, especially for juniors
Have seen another review of this rifle where it performed well with the Gamo Pro Hunter Pellets.

Cant believe you guys havn't done a review on the GX250
I got bored with my PCP and went back to a Air Arms Prosport and have never looked back when you do a good group you feel great , PCP,s are to easy .
Yeh but to easy is what you want when dispatching pests, so they definitely have their place. But you are definitely right
Fair play. I was laughing my head off when you were shooting the target. Welcome to the real world of springers, 😅😂
Well do guys 😢

Hi,where is now tx200 new version😢
Try BSA goldstars
Wrong pellet methinks. My Gamos, whilst a bit picky, all shoot really well.
Please don’t buy this gun it’s so inaccurate just buy a 99s
You own one?
@ yes I own a 99s best budget spring gun out there

How is it with a scope? Keep reading it was designed for open sights. Also no cheek piece on the stock.
@@darkstranger1970 open sights are very accurate on mine can hit 2p at 20/25 yards no problem
