Neolexious Neolexian the reason is because apart from muscles to rip and cause pain and harm (not a lot of pain but very intense for a few seconds.
The thing about strength is that it wastes a lot of energy in a little amount of time. We don’t use our full strength because we don’t really need to (when we need to we do) and because if we did we would almost always be hungry.

I was in a car accident and the car landed on its top and smashed down. The only open window was like a 6 inch opening. I smelled the gas pouring out and saw smoke and I was like NOPE.
I'm a big girl, but I managed to slide out of that window in seconds. It's not strength, but it's superhuman temporary weight loss lol.

Once I got jumped at the park by six guys and I was really shocked and confused, they surrounded me and were hitting me but it felt like they were literally just poking me and it didnt hurt at all (like the woman who protected her children) I could feel adrenaline all over my body and managed to push one guy down to the ground and sprint away in seconds like usain bolt or something. When i got home i had a huge muddy footprint on the side of my face but i didnt realise until i looked in the mirror because i literally didnt feel it at all. so yeah, adrenaline and stuff for the win! woop woop

I was jumped as a kid, so I got into martial arts, and now whenever I go anywhere, I bring one of the 3 weapons I’ve mastered. Bo staff, kali sticks, and the sans setsu kan, it makes me feel more secure.

Psychotic people probably experience the same thing. My mother works in the psychiatric department, and she has told of tiny women who haven't eaten for days, should logically not be particularly strong, but yet could wrestle 3 grown men - and win.

I gotta assume heli's would be rather light... I've seen a guy lift a mid-sized car off of someone. But his name was Tiny so he is automatically badass.

As a kid I was riding my bike around the 20x40 in ground pool at my house. It had the sun cover (a thin plastic sheet on top of the water) on it, and I fell into the pool! I remember my mother coming outside and around the pool and pulled me out within what seemed like 1-2 seconds. SUPER FAST REACTION AND SPEED!! Love you mom!

I've never been in a really bad life or death situation. well except for the time when I was nearly kidnapped. this random guy walked up to me saying "your lost? I know where your mum is, follow me." even though she had only gone to the bathroom. he tried pulling me away but I just kicked him in the nuts. most of my life or death situations involve sleepwalking. like when I dreamt that people had broken into my home and where downstairs trying to kidnap me. I grabbed my baseball bat which I keep above my pillow so I feel safer, and went downstairs swinging. I woke up in the middle of my living room with several broken glasses near me

Used to watch GMM back in the day but got kinda bored of weird food challenges. So much awesome content now! Really like the direction the show has gone, Rhett and Link are interesting to hear their thoughts and jokes about interesting subjects not just weird out vids. Awesome!

I got bit in the arm by a dog at my friend's house when I was in 3rd grade and I was so focused on not wanting to tell an adult (because I never asked if I could pet him) and it happened so fast that I didn't feel anything. Went to the hospital and the doctor showed me a chart of different facial expressions from happy to sad/hurt/crying and I picked the happy one cause I didn't feel shit😂 the doctor was so confused. I didn't know what else to pick that would show that I didn't feel anything lol

I was bit on my right leg a couple months ago. Didn’t feel the pain or even know it was there until I saw my pants soaked in blood, & then I was just calmly freaking out because my leg fat was hanging out & getting all over my clothes. I definitely had to get stitches, but it didn’t hurt until the nurse started pushing on the wound. I think it was the shock of it all as to why I didn’t feel anything as well.

I love that you guys both wear your wedding rings on camera. I know that sounds silly, but I'm newly wed, and my husband is in the Philippines for two months on business. Idk, but it just hit me how sweet it is that, in front of everyone in the world, you guys show, visually, your attachment to your families. It's awesome and it reminds me of my husband.
This'll probably not get read but here goes anyway. For the last year and a half i've suffered with severe anxiety. One of the effects is that it makes my body and mind in constant flight or fight mode. Like there isn't an off switch for it. So i constantly have adrenaline pumping around my body. I'm slowly learning to control my anxiety through medication and therapy. However i have wondered what kinds of awesome 'superhuman' feats i could accomplish with my adrenaline. Not that i have had the willpower to try anything though. Thanks for reading ^-^ you guys make my weekdays more bearable. You're amazing :)
