One time I went to Mcdonald’s and literally only ordered a large water. When I got to the window they handed me 2 huge bags of food. At the time I was struggling with money so it was like a blessing.

I stole candy from a store when I was 5 by shoving it down my pants. My mom was like "where did you get the candy from" and I was like "I got it from the store". Unfortunatley for me, I didnt know what stealing was, since my teachers taught me about "sharing". I blame our schools

One of the girls I used to hand out with when I was younger was a lot younger than me, so I never suspected her of being a thief. However, one day we were walking back from a drugstore and she pulled this piece of candy out of her pocket. She said "The guy up front gave this to me for free." I said "Really? Well that was nice of him." The next day we happened to play truth or dare and I asked if she had ever stolen something. She looked me dead in the eye and said "That candy from the drugstore." I avoided going to stores with her after that.

Okay, so, I was like, 9 years old, we were shopping at Old Navy, (in my town we didn't have any stores except walmart, so this was about an hour and a half drive out of town) and I was trying on this $6 purple belt. So we got our clothes, payed for things, and the whole way home I had this sinking feeling I just couldn't shake. Halfway home I felt the belt still around my waist and my eyes went so wide. I told my mom that I accidentally wore the belt out of the store. She didn't know what to do, but gas was expensive and we didn't really have it in the budget to drive all the way back, plus by the time we would get there it would be closed, and we only go to old navy about once a year. So my mom was so cool about it and she essentially said that I now had a new belt. And I was a 9 year old so I just said, "Okay!" and from then on, I had a purple belt.

I went through the drive through at McDonalds and ordered a number twelve. They gave me 5 McDoubles and five McChickens and five medium fries. I took it, probably belonged to a family of five, and took what I wanted and gave the rest away to homeless people that I passed by. I Robin Hooded that food, and I feel fine.

I've never actually stolen anything but apparently when I was about 1 1/2 and still in a pushchair my parents stopped at a green grocers to buy some fruit, went inside and paid then just carried on, after about 5 minutes my dad looks down at me in the pushchair to find me holding a giant orange with a massive grin on my face... Apparently I just picked it up and popped it in my lap because I liked the colour of it xD

I stole mints from a woman's purse while I was at the zoo... I wanted to eat something and she was sitting next to me so I reached into her purse when she wasn't looking and took some mints... When she got off the bench she reached into her purse and said, "I thought I brought mints with me" she looked at me and i just looked away. I was 4 😂

I remember when I was around 3 years old me and my dad went to Target and I saw this pink jewelry bead making set that I wanted. I asked my dad multiple times while holding up the big box and he didn't really respond. I carried it throughout the store and at the checkout I must've forgot that it was in my hands and the cashier never scanned it... I walked out of the store with it and it took my dad to notice that I stole it when we were in the middle of the parking lot. I didn't know I stole it; I thought she'd scanned it so I went on my merry way. We didn't return it lol.

My mum stole a hamster once. We went to a pet store to get a hamster and I wanted 2 of the little Russian dwarf hamsters and my mum was like "no Ari I said I'd buy you A hamster not 2" so I picked one then when we got into the car with the hamster in a box my mum asked me to open the box, so I did and she pulled another baby hamster out of her pocket and put it into the box with the other one. I said "I thought we were only getting one" and she said "no I said I was only BUYING you one.." no more was said about it and I had them for 2 years lol

When I was five my grandparents took me to Walmart to buy a baby doll. Near the baby dolls there were those little bath fizzies in the shapes of animals, so I asked my grandmother if I could buy one that looked like a hippo, and she said yes. Me being a little kid, I set it on the baby so the baby had a friend (the box was cut so you could feel how soft the toy was). When it was time to checkout we had forgotten the bath fizzy was with the baby, so it didn't get scanned. Surprisingly the alarms didn't go off when we left, but when I got home I found the little hippo and started to cry. I thought the police were going to come arrest me! I but the purple hippo bath fizzy in my jewelry box drawer and told no one. 13 years later, the hippo is still in the drawer.

We had a vending machine at school and once when I was angry on it, I punched it right above the keys. It dropped back my money, but it also gave me the stuff I paid for. And it happened every time you punched it, with no exceptions. I kept doing that for about 6 years, then I graduated. But man I'd still do it XD

over $1k from various mall outlets, target, walmart, etc. i grew up poor, and when i was 10 i realized how easy it was to hang out at stores and walk out with free shit. from then til 2 years ago when i was arrested (for a tube of lipstick, no less) i wouldn't be able to go into any store without taking at least 1 thing. some days i'd come home and my bag would be filled with $20 shirts, pieces of jewelry, anything i thought was mildly cool but not worth the inflation prices. if it was anything big i carried a razor on my palm so i could cut off the ink tags. i also stole from my work when i was pissed at my boss, and when i went on my lunch i'd never pay for food i'd just sneak it by the back entrance or drink it on the way back. i'm suprised i was never caught even once, i got so cocky after awhile it was ridiculous. it's not my proudest accomplishment.

Okay so my mom, my little brother, and I were at Wal-Mart checking out some school supplies. I had yet to get a backpack and saw this super cool one and my mom let me get it! So, we buy it and a few school supplies, and we head home. I *love* school supplies and school shopping so I tear into my backpack and start ripping out all the packaging inside of it... and I find a box of like 6 fidget spinners. At first I thought it might have been my little brother, but we never walked in the toy section. Someone had hidden a box of fidget spinners in the backpack, probably so they could come back for it. We accidently stole the fidget spinners, and we kept them XD

There was a person in school that I hated more than anything and one day he brought his iPhone 5 to school and during lunch I stayed behind saying I was grabbing something and I went in his book bag took the iPhone brought it home and kept it the whole week and then the following week I put his phone back in his bag and when I saw his reaction to seeing the phone I nearly died of laughter

When I was in 2nd grade, my teacher had a little treasure chest that she would give to certain kids as a rewards, and everytime we went to lunch I would say that I forgot my lunchbox in the classroom and I would go back and steal all the bouncy balls out of it and put it in my bookbag. I also stole a book from my friend about two years ago, but I gave it back to her when I finished reading it and she wasn't even mad.

This is something I stole that I didn't really want to talk about since I would have to explain it, but I was thinking about it and thought it was kind of funny. Just last year, I went to my friends house and we were being silly 8th graders and talking about inappropriate things and she was like "I went into my mom's bedroom to look for something one time and I found a dildo in her dresser." I went to her house that day, and we were there by ourselves so we went into her mom's room (I had never seen one and I was just curious about what it looked like and what it did) so we went through her mom's room until we found it and then we like threw it around the house because we were idiots, but then her mom came back home and we freaked out and I shoved it in my book bag. I never gave it back to her and I haven't touched it since. I thought it was so weird, and it's hiding behind all of my books on my bookshelf, because no one else would even think of looking there for anything.

I'm really bad at this kind of thing. I remember when I was a child I stole a chocolate bar from one of our corner shops and I felt so bad about it that I shopped there more, purposely over paying for things and telling them to keep the change until I payed back for the bar. I was two scared to admit to them what I did so I decided to be cunning and sneaky about it lol. I know this is nothing compared to most but it shows I can't handle this kind of thing, I just can't steal lol.

Walmart used to stick the smiley face stickers on the items for return or exchange and you didn't need a receipt back then to get cash back on returned items. All I'm going to say is that I got ahold of a roll of those smiley face stickers. O fortuna.

One time when I was in third or fourth grade, my family and I went to Myrtle Beach with our friends and we went shopping. Well I saw this really cute, cheap, and ready tatty bracelet.… And I put it on because I thought it was pretty, come on I was in fourth grade. So we have to leave because my friend left her wallet at a restaurant we went to and I forgot I had the bracelet on, and as we get to the other store I looked and I wrist to scratch it, and I see the bracelet. Oh my gosh we didn't pay for it… I start crying. So we get the girls wallet and we hurry our butts back to the other store and I walk in and they see me crying and I have the bracelet in my hand and one of the people is staring at me with the devils eyes, and I started freaking out. The girl who was at the cash register came out from around the desk and hugged me and said, "Sweetheart, I know what happened and you will be in no trouble whatsoever." After that I gave the bracelet back and I've never been there again.

We were at walmart, and I was looking for ice packs when I was 6. I found one, and put it in a cart. I didnt know it was our dads cart, and the person who pushed that cart had to pay 20 Dollars extra, and he didnt know he payed for that ice pack xD

When I went to Orlando with my pet rock ( That's the only thing in the pet adoption place back in Africa) and my son and we went to Downtown Disney, and there was this store full of those Lego's the dudes were talking about and my son wanted a set, but I could only get him a minifigure thingy, my son was sad and wanted some more Lego, so I stole a little axe and some bricks from a huge wall of bricks that people would pay for to buy the bricks. I got caught with the little axe, I ran to the washroom with my son with the rock and a bag which had the bricks and a box with the lego minifigure and waited 10 minutes in the stall. We got away with the bricks and the rest of the trip was sneaking into disney and having fun, we slept in a secret club called club 33 or club 99 or something like that and we swam to Africa after 20 days, plus everyone was staring at me since I'm a bird.

One time like at least five years ago, I was at a gas station with my mom and dad because I was still under ten and as they were getting our snacks and things I played with this small pen, meaning to put it back. So, I forget to put it back and I realize after we had already excited the store. We hadn't driven off yet so I could've easily told and gave it back, but instead I hid it and never spoke of it until like a year later. Then one time in first grade at were allowed to bring a stuffed animal to school for just that one day. I forgot so my teacher gave me and all the other kids who forgot one of her own. I got a small bird. At the end of the day, I forgot to give it back and I still have it to this day. I'm in eighth grade now.
Then I borrowed a book from my fifth grade teacher and never gave it back. I still have that somewhere too
