The greatest asset of this bike is the 21 speeds. Most ebikes do not have 3 gears at the pedals, leaving only 7 gears on the rear wheel. This becomes a problem when you want to pedal without much motor assist (or when you are forced to pedal on a depleted battery). On a 7-speed ebike, your RPM at the pedals can be hilariously high even when on level ground.
How does the bike perform? Any issues so far being a month in?
How many miles approx can you get out of this?
justin Jacobs. . On Battery alone without pedaling depending on your body weight about 30-35 miles. . if you pedal a little bit about 60-75 miles or more if you pedal more..

Just bought a 2000 rm250 survivor one owner low hours sitting in my garage like yours.
I am interested in this bike. It's extremely irritating that I have not been able to find any footage at all of this thing actually going with the throttle with a person on? Why can't anyone do this with these hotebikes?

normally i would say this a great bike. and it is. and a great price too. couple problems though. 1 is the chain is loose. and 2 is customer service refuses to answer any questions about the bike unless you identify yourself first. if you don't, they will just ignore your messages completely after that. this is terrible.
I recently had issues with the controller in this bike though it is a little difficult to deal with a manufacturer in China through emails and pictures I was able to work with them fairly easy within a month I had my controller

i got a different one i will post a video soon. . but this one is pretty good at 750w it goes 28 mph!
but if you want to go faster you will need a1000 watt motor . . i will send you some stuff tomorrow

the 20AH battery will almost double the range the controller is easy to unlock so 28-29 mph is available . . comes with a little wider tires than my mountain bike
but is otherwise the same. . a larger motor is available if you order directly and i strongly advise getting the largest front chainring they will give you .. For the 48V20AH--750W: Range is 80-150km.. . the 1000w motor will go faster but will hurt your range.. I ordered a fat tire bike with the 20AH battery and a 48t front chainring/sproket the larger chainring helps you pedal at higher speeds to assist the battery to make it last longer. the 42t that comes standard on the bike is way to small for a bike that goes 28 mph. email fanny at hotebike tell her you know me and she will guide you through this . . these bikes are excellent for the price . . nobody else has a bike like this with a 20AH battery for the price. im gonna put together another video of my new bike to explain this further .. any other questions feel free to ask . . i love this hobby . . me and my ol' lady ride every day . .

@@Jim.D its an excellent bike few mountain bikes run a 750w motor. .this one peaks at 1400 watts probably a 30w controller .. unlocked during off road testing she went 30 mph with a 220lb rider!!

@@Jim.D it is very easy to unlock just search youtube for unlock lcd3 and a video will show up. . if i can do it anybody can LOL!
