In theory could you wire two positive leads and two negative leads to a connector and use Nihm rechargeable in the battery tray run to a 6v solar panel for trickle?
I have these Tasco cameras and would to see info on how to do this with a small 6 volt rechargeable artery from Walmart and a solar panel also sold at Walmart.
It’s been a long time since I used this but I believe I probably got video not sure though as I usually use photo mode. The 12 v battery should be good maybe if you have a voltmeter check the output of the voltage regulator and see if you are getting 6 v. Are you using it with a tasco camera or other brand. Sometimes I find the tascos can be finicky and turning it off and back on will sometimes fix it. Let me know if you find out what it was. i am using a L78L06ABZ linear voltage regulator, its six volts and can only get pictures, no video. Do you get video with yours?

Sorry, I should also mention that I have it hooked up to a 12 volt battery like you would use in deer feeders.
