    Iron Wall is a fantastic side card for Lightsworn decks to use against this. You can also consider Trap Stun>Decree to not gut your own traps as well as not being a Gemini Spark target for the Hero Beat matchup.

      True! There are definitely a lot of innovative strategies to conquer Vayu Turbo.

    What a lovely co-host you had! I should probably stop procrastinating on part 2 of your interview LMAO

      He’s honestly an amazing co-host. Energetic and one of the best duelists in the format.

    also 42:27 when you talk about prohib, prohib doesnt stop cards already on the field so cant you still use mirror force?

      oh wait 10fd literally talks about it 10 s later nvm

    @52:00 If you chain Iron Wall to Bottomless, they still get the effect, but it just gets destroyed right?

    • @ATrueHER0
      @ATrueHER0  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct! If "Imperial Iron Wall" is chained, effects earlier in the Chain resolve as much as possible.

    How about trap stun as a royal decree substitute, especially in a deck that can burst as much as diva hero, then you could still count on your own traps, and it's not vulnerable to dust, which can also hit fufu so not the worst card to side in if they know you're going for decree

    • @ATrueHER0
      @ATrueHER0  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a good substitute, but Trap Stun is only for one turn.

    For the same reason as dust vs geartown, would dust make starlight miss timing?

    • @ATrueHER0

      I’ve personally never encountered a scenario where Dust Tornado makes Starlight Road miss timing.
      I have a rulings video about Starlight Road on my channel, and if you’re interested in how to play around it I have an exclusive video for those who are members of my Patreon.

    mind control is crack in the mirror. esp going second. i cant believe 10fd doesnt like it in the mirror. ryko hamster grepher are such good targets. you also have plague access a lot so i dont think its really ever dead. DAD is also a target. Taking a BW and Special summoning your gale is a play as well. It does so much AND its high impact. I love that card

      Mind control does the most in the mirror.

    Wait, you can tribute consecrated light for caius? I thought you couldn't

    • @ATrueHER0
      @ATrueHER0  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You cannot do so in modern format, but in Edison format it’s a legal play.

    How do you feel about tech shura in vayu turbo?

    • @ATrueHER0
      @ATrueHER0  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Try it out, but I feel as though it slowly leads to switching to Blackwings.

    When playing prohibition calling armed wing shuts down the deck as well. I believe skilldrain is really good against vayu turbo

    • @ATrueHER0
      @ATrueHER0  ปีที่แล้ว

      Skill drain can be hit or miss, but calling Armed Wing could be very impactful. :)

    • @G-Raaw
      @G-Raaw ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ATrueHER0 I think skill drain hits the starters: grepher, Armageddon knight,
      Engine; ryko and hamster
      Synchros: all
      Special summons: dad, chaos sorcerer, gorz
      Tribute summons: caius
      I pilot blackwings. So a skill drain side deck with two cyber dragons seems pretty good. Plus with three upstarts seems quite lethal.
