@i993Tiger It is a little hard to remove the head from the bracket. It requires a certain finesse. Once you get the hang of it it is easy. Sharks are about all I have caught this year. Check out some of my other videos for the sharking action!
Wondering about the arches and if if you can see pretty good like in 10 ft of water. Trying to use it for sturgeon can you see sharks on there as big arches
as far as temp goes,,I don't think your temp will work with out a temp sending unit. The temp is there probably just because they use the same programs for most of their fish finders. I just got me a echo 150 and I am sure the temp is not going to be correct without a sending unit. you can also set your alarm for low battery. Keep on Fishing.

@TopOfTheLine3 Oh you can see fish on it alright! I use it to find pods of bait to fish on. It is a great little machine and I am very happy with it!

Yes it does have fish ID but I have found this feature to be worthless on other machines so I have never really tried it on the Garmin echo 100.
I'm waiting for one echo 100. I hope i will like it. One big minus for me is that you must have battery. Why didn't they make it portable? :((
