I'm about halfway through An Education in Malice. I've reached the part where Laura and Carmilla's dynamic is more than academic, poetic competition. I'm not disliking it, but I'm kinda bored, if that's the right word. I'm going to keep with it, though, because every so often, I'll find a paragraph that captures an idea or image that sits with me for a while. I'm also curious about the intentions of the new antagonistic force.
@@Sthemingway I definitely feel like it’s the kind of book that has specific quotes that feel like a punch to the chest. Dowry of Blood is definitely the stronger novel. I’m definitely curious what you will think of the ending!
