Rhythmic wizardry. Compositional slight of hand. Melodically hypnotic. One of my dearest brothers described this band as the heaviest thing he has ever heard. I have to agree.
Their songs get even better over time. I've been listening to them since the 90's, and I still find little bits and pieces in songs that I've never noticed before, or find new meaning in the lyrics. If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, picking Tool would be the easiest decision I've ever made.
Tool is a journey. True to their craft and not worried about manufactured songs for radio and executives. Great reaction. And they have many more like this.
welcome to the Tool rabbit hole! luckily for you they have album after album with song after song with the same quality as this. don't neglect to pay attention to the lyrics. Maynard is a smart guy with a lot of important things to say.
I don't know if you are a musician, but you picked up on the groove faster than a lot of my musician friends. Enjoy the Tool journey, you won't be disappointed. Great reaction!
Thank you so much for enjoying this song and band as they are among the greats! Be careful not to go down the Tool rabbit hole 😂😂😂. That wouldn't be the worst thing though and you would absolutely love it! Again, love your channel and I sincerely say thank you for everything 💯
Thanks Sarah for reacting to my suggestion...that was a youtube bucket list item checked off. I was not expecting to see the reaction when i sat down to relax. You helped give me a happy end to an odd year. And, yes, as others have said before me, the TOOL army will see this and be just as thrilled as i was to see your joyful reaction!
Thats the reaction i have watching you react. The journeys are real. Its a band that deserves to be listened to. Not heard but listened to. Welcome to the tool army. The door is open but you aint never gonna want to leave.
Tool is the only band that NEVER fails to give me the chills ever single time I listen to any of their work. Every. Single. Time! Great to see you having the same experience, great reaction! Please react to more Tool, we will be here tuning in. 😊 #Toolarmy You might enjoy Descending of their latest album Fear Inoculum!
I've never seen someone pick up on the rythmic shapes in Tool so quickly. Most people get caught up that it's not 4/4, and just feel lost. But you immediately discovered the groove. It's the groove, or rythmic shapes (I like to think in that term), that electrifies the senses. Yet, you can take in the beauty of tones and lyrics whilst riding the groove. And that's why you don't have to worry about getting tired of it. Tool gets better on each listen, because the mind is not capable of following it all at once. So each listen is a different experience. Thanks for doing this. It's possibly the best Tool reaction I've ever seen (and I've seen most of them)
I have never been a huge fan of really heavy music, that being said I love tool and it's because of Maynard's lyric lines, no matter how heavy the music gets his voice is butter... and it makes it soft. I love the reaction 👍😊
Sublime.....Tool changed the way i think about music , The only band to do that before was Rush and i listen to Tool a lot more nowadays.....Spiral Out...
So much to say! I will try to come back to this to say more but real quick. I love your reaction here. Your emotion is exalting and invigorating. I truly feel the same when I listen to tool, so much energy and positivity regardless of a song filled with screams and "rage". Your elation was spread through your video and shared with me and all of us. Thank you for your wonderful shining spirit and sharing it's elation through this song. We love you and your energy. God bless and happy New Year!
Such a great reaction! I hope you do more tool soon! The lyrics are amazing too. You seem like the perfect fit for a tool journey. 🌀💜 i think you would like right in two.
If this is your first Tool song, check out "The Pot" next. Followed by "46&2", "Vicarious", then Pneuma if you're feeling squirrely. Love your genuine emotions when hearing this masterpiece!
Love it. Please do your viewers and yourself a favor and wrap your ears around " The Pot" by Tool. Keep reacting to as many Tool tracks as you can and watch your subscriber count rise and rise. Guaranteed!
That depends on the story. Some songs are about his mother and the album 10,000 days is named after how long she lived after she had a stroke. The song Judith by a perfect circle, led by Maynard is about her as well. Very sad stuff. The man's pain for his mother is evident in some of his music.
TOOL is a once in a lifetime band like Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. ✌️
You just named three bands in my lifetime.
Just add Rush and you have my fave bands of all time...@@thepooz7205
I hate that i agree with you. Floyd and Zeplin are so many folks thing. I hate em like I love TOOL
@@thepooz7205 LOL.
I do believe they are def in a class of their own. Absolutely genius in how they write music
I'm impressed, Sarah. You caught onto the ODD TIME SIGNATURES really fast. Nice job. More TOOL please. They honestly don't have a bad track. 🤞✌️
That’s the thing that nobody understands until they understand. Tool literally don’t miss. Not a bad song in their entire catalogue.
Precisely, @@timhaines2894

That’s how I feel every time I listen to Maynard’s work. Whether it be Tool, APC, or Puscifer. ❤
I don't know if you are a musician, but you picked up on the groove faster than a lot of my musician friends. Enjoy the Tool journey, you won't be disappointed. Great reaction!

It was wonderful watching you experience that! Watch more TOOL. Every single one of their songs is that good or better ;o)
Never seen someone catch on to the shifting time signatures so fast. You're going to love this journey.

Ooooooh, you'll have a LOT of fun with Tool. I'd watch each and every single reaction of yours. A suggestion for the next Tool-song: 46 & 2
I've heard this song so many times it's ridiculous, and yet it still blows my mind.
“What sorcery……” Priceless. Thank you Sarah!
Welcome to the family, you're ready for the journey 🤘😁👍
Just tip of the iceberg my friend. Can't wait for more Tool!!! 🖤
Tool- Pneuma (Danny Carey Drum Cam)
It just never gets old.
I have never been a huge fan of really heavy music, that being said I love tool and it's because of Maynard's lyric lines, no matter how heavy the music gets his voice is butter... and it makes it soft. I love the reaction 👍😊
I love their use of polyrhythms and odd time signatures. It makes their music so complex.
Great band!!
Tool - Reflection

EAT TOOOL GOOD HEALTH.
My son told me that their albums are meant to be listened to in order. The songs build off of each other.
That depends on the story. Some songs are about his mother and the album 10,000 days is named after how long she lived after she had a stroke. The song Judith by a perfect circle, led by Maynard is about her as well. Very sad stuff. The man's pain for his mother is evident in some of his music.
