Crazy 1960's Teisco Del Ray Silvertone "Dan Auerbach" Sharkfin K2L

Although it says Silvertone on the headstock, this beauty was definitely made in the Motsumoko factory in Japan in the mid to late 60s. Many iterations of this guitar have been made and recently companies like Eastwood have reissued their own versions.
This is the Silvertone-branded sharkfin K2L 1436 (ET-230) pretty much identical to what Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys has used tirelessly. My friend saved it from a dumpster and refretted it for me and I gotta say, it plays damn good and is in better condition than many of my axes half her age that spent more time in a case.
The K2L meant it had two pickups. The switches turn on and off the pickups have a rhythm/solo circuit that's its own animal. It is similar to Brian May's Red Special in this way, as well as the fact that it has a 0 fret which you see on many import guitars from this time period.

You're wrong. The one Iha played in the Rocket video was the ET-460 (four pickup model) also..his was the blue/green one.
