I honestly could watch these moments endlessly. I've been to Disney World hundreds of times and see the magic like this every single time. It truly feels like the most magical place on Earth.
WDW is amazing! We need to restore some of the magic that was erased in the last few years though. We need a night time parade at Magic Kingdom. We need the street performers at Hollywood Studios. We need the toppings bar back at Pecos Bills. We need the reservation system fully revoked. The passholder program needs to be made special again - we still remember the "unfavorable mix" attitudes and now you obviously need APs once again. Let's go WDW!
Don't forget lower ticket prices! Walt wanted it to be an affordable place where families could go. Now it could cost a family of five $1000 dollars a day between tickets, food, merch, etc.
When my family and friends says it’s too expensive….i have too many magical moments to list! On our recent trip this year, we got to go on rise of the resistance. We’ve never gone on it before and I see my eight-year-old starting to do “the dance“. He forgot to use the restroom before the ride we were in the room right before we get on the ride. Another mom noticed and got a cast members attention. I was too scared to ask because they were all in character so well for the order. One cast member named Zack looked at my son and told him he needed to go with him to the refresher station. Completely in character they took us to the back so that my son could use the restroom. When my son came out, Zack told him that his attempts to escape failed and that we need to get back in line for an interrogation. they turned what could’ve been a bad situation into such a good one. The cast members and the mom! Magic!!!!
When I went to WDW before (2018), rise of resistance wasn't open, but I went on it at Disneyland. It is such a fun ride, and hopefully I can go back to the most magical place on earth this summer!!!!
So many of those moments made me well up. My partner and I should have been getting married this year in Orlando and our honeymoon in Disney. Sadly she suffered a brain injury and on the road to recovery.
I love that she’s a strong black womxn, but I don’t appreciate how she’s just another cisgender heterosexual. I mean, I can’t even with all these cisgender heterosexuals anymore. Can’t we get a bit more diversity in these ads?? As a neurodivergent queer (non-binary and pansexual), I really need to start seeing more people like ME in these ads. I want to see myself in these ads, otherwise I can’t relate. Like it’s literally gross of Disney to totally ignore this marginalized group. Like I can’t even with this…it gives me the literal ick.

I want to finally be able to see myself in movies, TV, and ads like this. It looks to me like pretty much everyone featured here is just a typical, cisgender, heterosexual. Where are all the non-binary queers? Where are all the demisexuals?? Where are the neurodivergent trans kids?? Disney, you really need to step up the diversity and representation because I’m really getting tired of seeing the same old thing all the time.
