@@docboy989 You're right, but from wikipedia on breakcore: "2020s revival In the 2020s breakcore underwent a revival, bringing with it a noticeably different sound than the music produced in the 1990s and 2000s. According to Bandcamp Daily writer James Gui, 2020s breakcore is nostalgic, atmospheric, and sentimental, and grew out of the digital hardcore scene of the 2010s. It is accompanied by an aesthetic that draws from video games, anime, and internet culture with artists such as Machine Girl, Sewerslvt, and Goreshit being influential to the revival's aesthetic and sound.[13] Many fans of earlier breakcore consider this revival to be a separate genre, closer in spirit to ambient music or drum and bass." "breakcore is atmospheric" lol
@@dhjerth It doesn't really matter at this point, but if we are being true to it then Wikipedia is just wrong here. It's not a "breakcore revival" because the genre really doesn't have much to do with breakcore other than having breaks (that aren't at all chopped and processed like in breakcore), but lots of genres also use breaks, so are all of them "breakcore"? It's more of a revival of the name "breakcore" because it was wrongly used by another genre that recently blew up. Actually a ton of subgenres have names that were picked up because it sounded cool or catchy but the name itself doesn't really have much to do with the genre, and when it spreads it's very hard to undo it.
@@Worr. It's like what happened to dubstep. Breakcore means two different things now. Sort of annoying when looking for the old breakcore. Wouldn't say wikipedia is wrong, words mean what people mean, although "revival" is a bit of a stretch.

Those dnb tracks are with me for half a year now and I have to addmit their good impact on me. Vibes are on point, it kicks, it speaks n sing high like birds.
So I found this by the algorithm, and I played it for myself and fell in love with the entire atmospheric presentation of the whole album. Now this is where you should really pat yourself on the back here. My daughter, whom is autistic, jammed out with me in the car. She only jams to certain music, so thank you for creating this! Never stop making music!!! This is pure bliss and the 808s hum so nice with the trance like airy flow of transportation into transcendence. Beautifully designed and executed.❤

I have some old hardware digital synths, they were actually used heavily by Sega back in the day. I'm glad you picked up on that! I went out of my way to buy those specific synths/romplers! That was my main goal for sure, to capture that sound but in an authentic way (not just use VSTs and just my PC). Not knocking that work flow but for this specific album it was important I capture a certain essence.
Did not expect the algorithm to bless me like this, the vibes kicked me straight back to being a kid playing on my PS2, even falling asleep and waking up to the same track. Would love more stuff in this style.
This is an absolutely wonderful record, and the simple visual style you’ve made to accompany it feels unique, while also pays appropriate homage to the vibes of the time. quite astounding work you’ve managed here!!
TH-cam algorithm absolutely nailed it with this one. I feel a calming sense of melancholic nostalgia, for some place in a PS2 game I've never played because it was never made but somehow that place is part of me and reading the comments, is all of us. I don't know how you nailed such a subtle and specific feeling but you did, and I appreciate you, amazing work.
I think the guy who uploaded this is lying. There is no ways you can make something so high-quality and you're not some kind of big name producer. This is WAYY too strong, solid and stylistically sharp. He definitely knew what he was doing. The competence is too high.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I def try to keep things a bit on the chilly side! Also thanks so much for your time and going out of your way to visit my TH-cam!
Like others, I thought this this was a playlist of random songs you pulled from the internet, but you actually made them. You did such a good job, lovely album! :)
Oh wow, the amount of new interaction between when I listened to this yesterday and today is insane, glad I'm not the only one who's found this, it's lovely
What the hell! There is no reason for this to make me soooo emotional, motivated, nostalgic, driven, happy, sad, anxious and excited. All simultaneously and at different occasions! You are amazing and definitely found something that the world needs more of! I will happily be following your journey and excited for more of your music.
Does anyone feel an unexplainable sorrow/heartbreak/joy/agony from this type of music? It's like listening to what the world could have been, and it's right there in your face but you can't take hold of it. It's so mesmerizing and soothing, but has such sorrowful vibes. It's like if childhood wonder and whimsy had a sound. Like...that same feeling you had about the world when you were a child. Everything was huge and beautiful, everything was new and pure... But it's not anymore. This entire album feels like it's harkening back to the days of that era, and it's truly amazing to be able to feel that again, considering a majority of my childhood was tarnished.
Amazing work. I literally voiced "Jesus Christ" when the vocals came out in God's Garden, while playing NGS and without even knowing the title(first time listener). Just top tier.
It is unreal how good this is. Best in a long time. Listening to Aquatic Heaven Simulator made me start getting some Phantasy Star Online EPII for Gamecube vibes. Holy hell bro keep it up.
You mentioning having used samples and synths that were used to make Phantasy Star Online music is wild because I literally been using this playlist to grind in PSO2:NGS ever since I found it. Music feels right at home as I play. Awesome album here, definitely in love. I use this to keep me moving during work, games, and the gym. Bless you for making this. I'm definitely a fan.
Thanks so much for listening. I am super happy you are connecting with the music. I gotta boot up NGS at some point, it's been a minute. Last time I played I met some random people and we ran around doing the random bosses and then we stopped and admired the sunset over a cliff!
After reading this description!! I have not even listened to it yet. But everything you listed is my whole zone! Especially the PSO/PSU sound font! I am actually going to consume this whole album tonight when I get home!! So excited and thank you so much!
Reading the description feels like a validation of what I feel like I have been feeling about this set of genres. If you will allow me to ramble (quite a bit mind you); I came across this type of music some months ago. Like many who have said this before; I recalled how it made me feel nostalgic. And it reminded of what my memories of the 2000s was like to me; specifically what I remember the music of that era being like from my OWN memories. I think of it has two camps: Red and Blue. Red for all the rock/rap of that time. They all had that like rad/awesome/attitude vibe to them; that it was all about taking on the world. And for the most part, it made sense. The shift what was being shown in media was one of those "pushing boundaries" that was being carried over from the 90s. So it always about being in your face; something I feel like you saw a lot of in commercials. But that was for stuff only for the daytime; when it came to nighttime; that's where the Blue comes in. Blue always felt like the electronic/techno side of music. That mysterious/beautifully haunting/ethereal feel you get at night; especially when you only have your thoughts to sit with you. Where the daytime was for people to shine; night time was for the world to shine. That uninterrupted flow of the world just existing. Like, I've been for a while now watching old recordings of tv broadcasting; specifically those of adult swim. And yeah, a lot of the time it's music that feels like its asking you to just sit there and breathe. Maybe its also because the 2000s was also the turn of the century that it also made that advancement in technology that we also got such experimental media. This type of music is what I think about whenever I look at my PS2. Just that "here's this other world we're gonna show you; it's secrets and beauties that it holds." It always felt like it was someone trying to make you think, to imagine. Right now I listen to this album whenever I edit since I tend to do so late at night, and it always keeps me in a peaceful state. Just helps me keep my creative process going. So to make this long ramble close up now, thanks for making such a great album. I definitely plan to keep up with your stuff.
I love your appreciation of music and the night / day trope you described. Especially the way you describe a type of music asking you to just sit there and appreciate the moment. You're right, electronic music perfectly met a new wave of video games and technologies promising a genuine 'simulation' never experienced before. The atmosphere was really important, electronica was synonymous with immersion, like entering a virtual club. This Jungle revival on youtube had me rediscovering the early 2000s 'Soft Club' (Jungle, Breakbeat, Abstract Hip Hop, Trip Hop...). This whole scene impacted me a lot and was somewhat of a bridge with the previous gen. also into electronic music.
Right! I read what you wrote and I do agree with you. Day time was a vibe and night time was entirely different type of media. I feel like for us in the west, when the JRPG boom happened. We got exposed to some eastern philosophies and spirituality. I think that really left an impression, especially on me personally as i was about 10 towards the end of the 90s and I became a teen in the mid 2000's. The adult swim bumps were great, they exposed us to a bunch of artists that at the time weren't widely known, before it was super easy to just find whatever you wanted online. I have always loved the night time, not a huge fan of the day time. I remember hearing electronic music on the radio late at night when I was like 11 and being fascinated by it. I'm glad you are enjoying my music. I think through this music I am trying to explore my own spirituality in a completely unbiased way... or at least I am trying to be unbiased. I'm fairly isolated as I work from home (I do IT) and I think that isolation is allowing me to open up and feel in a way that I wouldn't be able to if I was caught in the energy/hustle and bustle of the outside world. Thanks so much for being here and accompanying me on the journey!
@@Dusqk For sure! Seems like everyone else also feels the same seeing as the amount of dnb/jungle/breakcore uploads from either the original composer or a compilation vid have an anime/anime-adjacent art style to it. And I feel like you REALLY captured that vibe a lot. Aquatic Heaven Simulator sounds like the type of song I'd hear in some obscure JRPG in one of the menu screens. Like, very much what I imagine the save point music would be. Wellness Spring, no lie, sounds like something I would hear out of Ghost in the Shell S.A.C Feels like what would play when they would show like digital info in a physical matter(if that makes sense). Of course yeah, the night time vibes are there. Though I will say that another reason why I love this music is because it appeals to me who is a pluviophile. Basically somone who loves the rain. It's the type of music that I would love to listen to, looking out the window watching rain fall at either that early morning time where the sky still has that blue tint or at night where the lights of lamp posts and buildings cut through the air. It's the the type of feel I think about from racing games that had you drive during night levels through the city with all lights shining. Its all just so cathartic. To say the least though, I totally get what you mean about the serenity of night time over day time and the exposure we got from Japanese media. To not go TOO deep about myself, I remember how much of my upbringing was the case of having expectations put on me; rules and a lifestyle that I never asked if I wanted it to begin with. So when night came around it felt like a relief; where there was no one around to remind me of the person I was expected to be. And when a close friend of mine would be the guy who exposed me to both anime and JRPGs; it was that moment where I felt my core open to who I truly was. So to see that this album is the byproduct of you in isolation at night; then I'm surely looking forward to the next project.
@@midnightcenter6069 I totally get you on the expectations thing. Also yes, looking back when I was actually getting influenced by the JRPGs etc. My friend and I would be locked away in his basement, we started a punk band together. We'd be jamming out and making music and then playing JRPGs in between. We were very young, pre teen early teens. So ironically at the time of influence, I thought the game music was super rad, always loved it. But we were interested in just LOUD, heavy and offending everyone HAHA. I am very grateful for that childhood. I really appreciate you talking with me and also describing how the album makes you feel. Means a lot to me. Thanks so much.

This is incredible! Didn't realise it was an original album til i came to the comments, really glad i found this. *adds to all my playlists*
Shirobon! What's up man, thanks so much for coming through and giving this a listen. Big fan of your work, chiptune scene was my first home.
I'm obsessed ♥ this will be on repeat for the next few months
Thanks so much! And thanks for checking out the stream! Was fun chilling.
The thumbnails for a lot of these breakcore mixes remind me of my childhood with every video, especially nightcore, having some anime girl on it or something of the like. Makes me feel at home in a way.
Thanks so much for listening and I'm glad the vibe makes you feel calm/at home
@@Dusqk Yeah man, I really appreciate it, been rocking this playlist almost every time I do homework. I also wanna say I really like "Heart Breaks 2005" gotta be my favorite if I had to choose.
I love 2 Am lucid. It sounds like shopping in a futuristic Japanese mall in early 2000
That song was really nice to make!!! Glad you are getting that vibe. Thanks so much!
“Used some old samplers and synth that were used to make Phantasy Star Online OST back in the day.”
That would explain why this is such a banger and captures that early 2000/Y2K era of video game music so beautifully! PSO fan as well 😌
Keep up the amazing work love your music 🔥🔥
Thanks so much! I will keep going!!!
Same, album is so good I'm stuck listening to it on repeat lol
Aquatic Heaven Simulator is one of the best atmospheres I've ever heard in a piece of music, I reached full ascension the first time my ears were blessed with its graceful tune.
Such a high quality track for me. It played for MONTHS in my head afterwards.
song number 6 is incredible, you have serious talent, please keep up the work! Ive been mixing dnb for 10 years and rarely come across such soulful, sophisticated and punchy songs
Thanks so much for the kind words. I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to my music!
finally breakcore that isn't like all the others, this is unique, I'd like to see more albums like this...
Thanks! Glad the album sticks out to you. Your words mean a lot! I am mixing a new track as I type this. New stuff on the way soon!
That's because it's Drum and Bass and not Breakcore lol
@@docboy989 You're right, but from wikipedia on breakcore: "2020s revival
In the 2020s breakcore underwent a revival, bringing with it a noticeably different sound than the music produced in the 1990s and 2000s. According to Bandcamp Daily writer James Gui, 2020s breakcore is nostalgic, atmospheric, and sentimental, and grew out of the digital hardcore scene of the 2010s. It is accompanied by an aesthetic that draws from video games, anime, and internet culture with artists such as Machine Girl, Sewerslvt, and Goreshit being influential to the revival's aesthetic and sound.[13] Many fans of earlier breakcore consider this revival to be a separate genre, closer in spirit to ambient music or drum and bass."
"breakcore is atmospheric" lol
I'm speechless. The art, all the soundtracks, it's heavenly, especially Heart Breaks 2005. It's a crime that you give it away for free. Thank you for this fantastic album DUSQK!
Love this album, thank you for putting it up on Apple Music ❤
Thanks so much for listening!!!
The sonics on this are just too good bro... damn! It's so wide sounding. and the bass frequency is literally vibrating through my entire body rn in a perfect way lol
Appreciate you!!!!
Music like this always makes me emotional for some reason, hoping you get the popularity you deserve. This genre brings me back to the early 2010/2000s, thank you for continuing to make amazing stuff like this.
Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and for the kind words! Appreciate you!
I'm glad TH-cam recommended this, fits my vibe perfectly. You earned a fan for life
Happy to have you! Thanks for being here!
this is the kind of stuff that brings people back from the brink, may you never fade away friend
A masterpiece of an album. Been listening to this recently and been loving every bit of it, great music soaked in a sick aesthetic. Cooked to perfection 🧑🍳🔥
I absolutely love this. Reminds me so much of the games I used to play back in the day. This is incredibly inspiring. 🎵
Thank you!!!!
glad youtube recommended this to me
really digging your tracks
Thank you so much. Appreciate you taking the time to check out my album, truly means a lot.
OMG I'm blessed to have been in this algorithm ❣️🙏.... Want be always connected to good music 🎶💓
Gods Garden and Heart Breaks 2005 are so beautiful.... I love this keep making music please!!!
Thanks so much, I will keep going.
Those dnb tracks are with me for half a year now and I have to addmit their good impact on me. Vibes are on point, it kicks, it speaks n sing high like birds.
Bro we need more of this, it's truly awesome !
New mix dropping tomorrow! Appreciate you!
Thank you so much for listening to the music. AND That is an honor! That is super rad your daughter connected with the music! I am glad the music created a moment for you both to enjoy and connect. Appreciate you, this comment made my night!

Thank so much for this album, it gave me lot of childhood memories of me playing Final Fantasy alone in my room, your work translate the peace of mind that I used to fell traveling across those magnificent worlds. Not gonna lie, I cried a little.
Wish you the best.
Your comment made my day. I used to play FF all day in my room too! I'm so glad the music is taking you on a journey. That's why I create music. To escape into different worlds. To take a break from reality!
Don't stop doing this. You have a gift for encapsulating sophisticated feelings in music. That's what it's all about
My friend showed me this about 3 days ago. We were having some drinks since I had a stressful week of work. It was so soothing that I’ve been putting it on repeat at and after work
I’m absolutely in love with this album
Please make more!!! I’ve probably listen to this atleast 300 times by now
Fuels my late night art vibes
I'm glad you are connecting with the tunes! Thanks so much for listening. I will make more!
same as others, thought this was a compilation of random dnb/breakcore, but found out it's an album! these tracks are heavenly man great work and definitely got a new listener
Thank you!
I ended up listening to this entire playlist twice so far while I was working on something. It helped put me in a good mood with my current thoughts and feelings. Thank you so much for creating this album! Seriously loved and enjoyed it. I am about to check out the rest of your channel as well. Keep up the great work!!
Thanks so much. I am glad the music helped you in a positive way. Appreciate your support!
I've listened to this album dozens of times over the last two months and it is exceptional, thank you for creating & sharing it.
Thank you for listening!
I just bought this album on Bandcamp and I am blown away! Such a cool and nostalgic style and never gets boring at all!
My favorite tracks are "Gods Garden", "Lo_Light Summer 04" (the bass is extra fantastic in this one), and "Aquatic Heaven Simulator".
Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for the support friend!!!
I fear the day that I can no longer relate to new music. This is one of those albums that give me hope that that day will never come.
Gods Garden is on repeat.. Gotta give you some money for this one, boss.

Thank you so much!!
This is seriously some top tier production. Been listening to a lot of ps era style jungle / dnb but somehow this stands out and sounds amazingly unique and fresh. Keep grinding dude, I'm sure we'll hear lots of great tunes from you going forward!
Damn... you have amazing and melodic touch and you understand song structure absolutely and you seem to write "stories" not just copy paste the same stuff until 4 minutes is full... I have to appreciate that.
When I'll have my finances in order again, I'll be buying your albums, wish-listed and followed! Good artists need support!
4:10 so sick when Gods Garden gets into gear.
I love the "e" vocal sample in this track, lol.

Thanks for coming through and listening!!!!
Had to come back here after finally listen to the whole album in one seat, and it fucking worth it.
Congratulations my man, this is one of thw few albums I can say that i loved EVERY song ❤❤
i clicked on this thinking it was a mix?? the fact its a full album made me so happy because i enjoyed it so much!! cant wait to see your future works ❤
Thanks so much for listening!
I really love the samples used here. It reminds me of Sonic CD's good future tracks somehow
Appreciate you coming through and checking out my music!
Same, me as of 2 days ago
This is an absolutely wonderful record, and the simple visual style you’ve made to accompany it feels unique, while also pays appropriate homage to the vibes of the time. quite astounding work you’ve managed here!!
Thanks so much! Appreciate you giving it a listen!
I need more of this please. These are so good to game to or to zone out please keep making these gems
Stunned. Amazed even. Congrats on making this masterpiece!

This is a really really good mix. Heart Breaks 2005 😍
Thank you! Appreciate you listening!!
I've listened to this probably several hundred times since it came out. I'm listening to it right now. I'll do it again.
I think the guy who uploaded this is lying. There is no ways you can make something so high-quality and you're not some kind of big name producer. This is WAYY too strong, solid and stylistically sharp. He definitely knew what he was doing. The competence is too high.
dude. heart breaks 2005 is a whole vibe. perfect vocals. I love it. keep at it
This album is a whole masterpiece, its so beautiful. I love that it has the old styles mixed in and that so incredible. I love it

I want nothing more than to have someone play this for me as I slowly and seductively eat green beans, with just the right amount of salt.
Green beans with salt do be hitting different. Esp with a little butter.

Just casually wrote an album over the summer. Jesus christ, how I wish I was that creative.
Hey! Appreciate you coming through and taking the time to listen. Everyone has creativity, just need to unlock it if you feel stuck! I believe in you!
What the hell! There is no reason for this to make me soooo emotional, motivated, nostalgic, driven, happy, sad, anxious and excited. All simultaneously and at different occasions!
You are amazing and definitely found something that the world needs more of! I will happily be following your journey and excited for more of your music.
Thank you so much. I am really happy this is having a positive effect on your day. Appreciate you!
God's Garden is somethin else man. It's so beatiful to listen to.
2 AM Lucid reminds me of the spaceship area in honkai star rail. It sounds so cool
I am glad you are liking it!!!! Appreciate you!
Amazing work. I literally voiced "Jesus Christ" when the vocals came out in God's Garden, while playing NGS and without even knowing the title(first time listener). Just top tier.
Thanks so much friend!!
It is unreal how good this is. Best in a long time. Listening to Aquatic Heaven Simulator made me start getting some Phantasy Star Online EPII for Gamecube vibes. Holy hell bro keep it up.
I love PSO ep 2. Thank you so much!
this was just what i was looking for. My favorit type of dnb is when it feels light and clean like your floating in cyrstal clear drinking water.
I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
UPDATE: WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE!!!! I certainly dropped a sub!
@@SpodahMane ayyyyyyyye welcome aboard. Thanks so much for being here.
@@Dusqk No problem! I'm happy my words were conveyed properly and didn't come off as me just spewing random nonsense.

Getting too many idiosyncratic feelings to even describe what I feel listening to your workhere. 5 & 6 in particular activates my protaganist syndrome & oddly reminds off those gory stickman games me n my twin used to play. Please keep doin your work! Started with listening to vaporwave and signalwave years ago, so it's probably why im not a huge fan of other speedier dnb stuffs atm, and im also kinda just getting into this genre.
