Andy is my favorite coach in the NFL...but sometimes he has game management issues at the end of games...don't take a time out, or takes time out when not needed, go for or don't go for td or field goal. He needs a proven pro for his assistant to help him make these finite decisions when the game is winding down then he will go to and win the Superbowl in my opinion!

A friend excitedly texted me with the news of the Mahomes pick with a picture Patrick dropping back in a Texas Tech uniform. I read the text and yawned, then went about my day. The one thing that us doubters forgot to factor in, Andy Reed was the evaluator of the talent.
With Andy's track record with QBs and Pat being a gunslinger how did you not see this

In the NFL that has implemented many rules to aide the offense over the past few years I see no legitimate argument against guaranteeing both teams get the ball in OT at least in the post season.
Amazing comment at 2:57, "I benched myself is what I did." Then at 3:08: "I'm normally going to look at myself first," in terms of troubleshooting problems with team performance. What kind of leader says that??!! What kind of boss, what kind of clergy, what kind of school principal says that? They're always looking for someone else to blame, and here's this guy. No wonder his players would crawl over broken glass for him.

As a “skeptic” (on Mahomes), hoping to find and stack “our visual data, interviews, pros and those close to insiders, etc” to prove I’ve nothing to question, re: what I’m seeing now, is “for real” and , will last thru the “ages”; this interview (among some others that have supported Mahomes, the player/the man), ... is one of best to confirm that what we’re seeing is genuine, and that “P.M, Jr. , QB”, will be the “phenom” all are hanging around his neck ... I still have concerns, ie. Injury .. but, feel great hearing Coach Reid’s take on his QB! Is good, genuine, and enlightening - in the “positive” Is a youtube clip worth watching ... to catch the small comments that speak volumes ... Love it!

The lowest ranked defense ever to win it was the Colts 14 years ago. Let's take a look at the difference between the Packers and the Colts shall we. Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Bob Sanders, Dallas Clark, and Jeff Saturday just to name a few. Other than Rodgers name one player that is even close to the caliber of those players. TEAM SPORT. Plain and simple. That's why the Patriots got pushed around and dominated by the Titans like a Pop Warner team...
Chiefs defense is much improved this year though. And while they're not as well rounded as the 49ers the offense is so great that they could win on that alone.

So if they're much improved and they're still 25th, what the heck were they last year. If you think that's much improved when they can only possibly be 7 spots better than your definition of improved and mine are totally different. And Mahomes hasn't played a D even close to the caliber of San Francisco either. They don't have to blitz to get pressure either. And every single lineman can put pressure on Mahomes. It could be coming from any of the 4. Mahomes is mobile but he's definitely no Russell Wilson in that regard. If we can keep Wilson contained in the pocket they definitely can keep Mahomes contained. All you have to do is look up the past Super Bowls and it's just a fact that bad defenses don't do so well in the Super Bowl. That's hard to beat. Against Minnesota if they don't give up the one single big play they gave up all day of 41 yards to Diggs their defense gave up around a 100 yards. I didn't even think that was possible in today's game. '85 Bears could maybe do it but that's a pretty tall order. Hell the Niners might put them away quick. This is the NFC West, not the AFC West where the 2nd best record in the conference was 7-9. Mahomes will probably win a couple but not this year my friends. Who knows he could end up like Dan Marino. That's who I feel sorry for more than any of these lame ass coaches. No way anyone who knows football can look me in the eye and say he's not in the top 4 all-time. My Lord his 48 TD's in the 84-85 season is literally like 70-75 in today's brand of football. Whew! Ok I'm done now... Lol
