      simms was my favorite before he was on nbc. jerks blasting him at that time because he was not that of a great qb mostly and he was not on a big sport broadcast channel. when i need nfl analysis, this is the guy. he is pretty good also with interviews. specially when he interviews big time qbs. the only knock on him for me is that the way he evaluate draft prospects (outside qbs), he is more on physical traits rather than nuances. for example, if he was 40 yo at that time, evaluating jerry rice during the draft process, he wont be in his top 5 wrs list. 2 years ago in his to 10 nfl wrs, he put courtland sutton over devante adams. so i just beware a bit of his wrs and rbs draft evaluation.

      Head coaching experience is NOT what makes for a good head coach. When Philly hired Reid as their head coach, he had no head coaching experience. Sean McVey was a rookie head coach when he took over the Rams. There was a Time when Vince Lombardi was a freshman head coach. Teams do like to hire guys with previous experience because it is a little easier to predict what you will get from them, but even that isn't a guarantee. Bill Belichick was a failure in his first head coaching job, but NOBODY will try to argue that he hasn't been successful in New England. Now I FULLY agree that the hiring of Jeff Saturday was a real head scratcher because even freshman NFL head coaches have coaching experience somewhere. Most of them have been coordinators at the NFL level or college level at some point. Jeff Saturday was a damn good player for the Colts and a pretty good TV NFL analyst, but almost NO coaching experience of any kind. I know he's been good friends with Jim Irsay since his playing days for the Colts, but it still made very little sense to hire him to take over for Frank Reich, who I think is actually a pretty good coach. I know Jim Irsay just asked Saturday to do him a favor, but DAMN!!!

    The comment about not adjusting his game plan too much for Doug pederson is questionable. Bill Belichick is known for this and is probably the best at it. Going into the game just "doing what you do" works most of the time, but there's room for improvement

    Love Chris and respect Andy Reid.
    I still believe without a doubt that Josh Allen is a better quarterback than Mahomes. Mahomes is one hell of a talent and a HOF. However, he is that way because of Andy Reid and his supporting cast. Josh Allen is more talented than Mahomes.

    • @craigcampbell8560
      @craigcampbell8560 ปีที่แล้ว

      Except he's NOT more talented than Mahomes. Allen is more physically gifted than Mahomes is, but Mahomes is still the better QB. Mahomes still has better arm talent than Allen (although Allen might have an even stronger arm than Mahomes does, but it's too close to tell who has the stronger arm) and Mahomes is much better at decision making than Allen is. The decision making is really the thing that sets them apart because Mahomes' superior arm talent is offset by Allen's superior ability as a runner. As good as Allen is at making off platform throws with different arm angles as Allen is, Mahomes is in a class all by himself when it comes to that. And while Mahomes is dangerous as a runner when he does run, Allen can be downright terrifying as a runner. When Allen's decision making is good (when he reels himself in a little bit and doesn't get over aggressive and force throws that even he shouldn't attempt) he can go toe to toe with Mahomes. But Allen is MUCH more likely to have a bad game than Mahomes is, and the statistics don't lie when it comes to that.

      @craigcampbell8560 Allen is more talented than Mahomes and more physically gifted than Mahomes. While I do agree that Mahomes decision making is better than Allen, Allen has a better arm and can throw the ball better. Mahomes, while is more accurate, does not do any dangerous throw or throw to contested WR or TE, which partly that is due to Andy Reid brilliant plays. The difficulty of play for Allen is higher than that of Mahomes, Mahomes has a better coached and more talented roster around him that help him look better.
      In terms of overall, Allen is a better QB, but Mahomes has a better supporting cast and better cast and that helps him look better and have better number.

      @@nawaralrbeawi8625 , really tell me? How many all pro receivers do the Chiefs have on their roster? None, zero, zip, zlich, The Bills have at least Stefan Diggs and Gave Davis. Patrick Mahomes doesn’t have one superstar. I mean JuJu and MVS, Hardman, Sky Moore, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney is not exactly a murderous row of a receiving core. But Mahomes made it work. He’s working with less now. No Tyreek Hill, no problem. The Chiefs just won the Super Bowl without Tyreek Hill.
