Legend of Legaia - Evil Talisman Juggernaut Door Glitch - Hopefully Easy - Duckstation Upscaled

- This is nothing new and there are a couple of older videos out there for this same trick. I wanted to add a maybe more clean/easy to understand video of the glitch to my collection for anyone that happens upon it. My buddy Dimidawg showed me this trick years ago.
This has to be done AFTER you clear the mist in Ratayu and have everyone turn back to normal folks. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to lineup the initial guard talking prompt and then afterwards even more to actually get the door to open. Just don't panic, you are in the right spot if they talk to you unprompted and take your time trying to open the door just past them.
The summon itself does insane damage but does cost a lot to use. Normally that door is opened upon getting 99 in the game, which is not at all needed to complete the game. I end up fully geared around level 30 completing the game. It is one of my favorite things to simply cut down on the high encounter rate of the game.
I made the overlay and it is upscaled this is played using duckstation.

NICE GUIDE i got it to work thanks, the trick for me was getting in the spot like u said where there the dialogue happens without pressing anything, pressing down to get away only a little bit, then holding up and spamming L1 and X, once i tried that method of going a bit away and mashing both buttons i got it first try
That is awesome you got it on the first try that way! I'm not at all a pro, I paly it once a year and sometimes I get it in the first couple tries and others its like 5 minutes lol. For the video it was my third attempt.

I love it, cuts down on what feels like 50% of encounters. There is a good luck bell accessory as well, but I've never tried it out to compare.
