Five feet of snow in seven day made for some of the best tree riding of the gopro snowboard season. Some close calls in the trees. Snowboarding over buried stumps and deep powder in the trees. Thanks man! We usually have good snow in March. I heard its crazy warm out east. Sometimes summer forgets to come to Whistler so it could be a trade off, snow for sun.

I recently got the gopro 3 black edition and I'm using it at 1080p, 60fps.
your glades are so open, here on the east they are tighter. Nice riding btw

For powder a longer snowboard can me it easier. But you can ride powder with a regular length board too.
Parts of this video are in some really steep double black trees.

its simple, the rule is: where you look is where you go, so you look/focus at/on the gap between the tree's and where you wanna go, and its all good. as soon as you look at the tree though, you can be pretty sure your gonna hit it. shred on people. peace

Tim Hwang For this video we had about 40 minutes of footage and these shots were the ones with the camera the most steady. It takes some practice to get used to filming with the gopro. A lot of trial and error.
