Gear ratio isn't as important as how much load is on the engine, typically more load makes more power, less load makes less power, especially in turbo setups. I like to aim for length of the pull in regards to Time, it usually correlates pretty close with the load. 4th gear = 6 seconds, 5 gear = 9 seconds, much easier to get data as well from the longer 5th gear pull. Nice job Nick love it.
Someone correct me if im misinformed, but those seem like fairly reasonabke considering its a "mild" ish build and not a youtube purpose built k24 frank
How did the cam angles work out when compared to a stock K24a with a 50vtc wheel. We have an almost identical swap to this in a lotus Elise. But using z3 intake cam and K24a exhaust cam.
@@enhancedphysique6452 I don't believe it too. I had 260 HP / 260 Nm on motor on Toda a3 with CU2 pistons and a bit cut head. Also tuned on the dyno. But now I have st4 k24 motor that showed 368 HP, so if we count that way - I can believe. Just some dyno show more.
@@pacific7775 there is a table what is best size in the internet, Google it. Bigger is not better for all atmo build. I have experience. 3" is for 320+ hp
Mitch from unit 2 , hung around with those guys back in the day at the original unit 2 . Awesome cars and Mitch is a phenomenal fabricator.
What a set up! Crazy numbers. Great work!
should make a video on heat shielding and under hood temps + venting
Very Healthy engine.

I saw a flame 🔥
Hi bro. Great numbers for that beast. It does has k24 block and k20 head with k20 z3 cams?
Am looking some with my kswap

Sick Teg I'm currently building my K20A2 on the side

My K24A liked 40 as early as 35-4800 in high cam, limited at 40* and only have a 2.5” exhaust
Holy fuck that 5th gear was my 2nd gear
Man i wish my limiter was like that, what needs to be adjusted in order to achieve that? i have JRSC Fa5 on flashpro of course
Where you located at
I would love to have you remote tune my ek k24a2
💯👍
Anything wrong w a lower VTEC point than 4.5-4.6k? Looks like it likes high cam earlier.
ngl anything lower than 4.5 you're just not going to get the power curve you'd want, also it helps for drivability in the street
@@IsaacPoopsAlot curve suggests it likes high cam earlier. And my k24 likes it too. Doesn’t cause drivability issues, it’s a smooth transition
Are there any benefits to use flash pro on a stock 8th gen civic si?
yes bro you would make 10-20 hp
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiickk!!
Hey do you have a k24 base map with rdx injectors
Sorry for haltech
Wheel specs?
17X8 +35, 235 tires
@@Mok_26 thank you!
Bigger intake would make more power.
Stock cams and compression making 253 and 207 wheel is not correct imo.
I've seen plenty of k20/24 franks put down 240 to the wheels stock.
it is frank combination.

US dyno read bigger number 😂 This will only make 200-205hp
Too huge exhaust for such setup. 2.5 would work better
No it wouldnt unless you mean less hp is better.kseries 3" exhaust allday and tomorrow

how you call yourself a honda maniac but don’t know k series love 3 inch
@@LALA-os8br I have 3 inch on my accord, watch videos. But again, it is for 300+ HP. For 200-250 2.5 is better
@@LALA-os8br about "Honda" - Honda sound is high sound. When you make exhaust wider - it looses Honda sound.
