For over 100 years people have enjoyed fishing from the Bokeelia Fishing Pier. Whatever the season there's always something biting!! Located at the northern tip of Pine Island stretching into the waters of Charlotte Harbor, the Bokeelia Fishing Pier is known by many as the place to come for Snapper, Red Fish, Snook, Grouper, Mackerel and Sheep head just to name a few.
No fishing license required, just come and enjoy the fun. Rod & Reel rentals available.
There have long been rumors of paranormal happenings at Capt’n Con’s Fish House at the northern tip of the Island. The stories were fueled by rumors of a hanging tree located behind the restaurant and the unfortunate ? and unconfirmed ? drowning death of the daughter of an early settler in the nearby water. People have reported seeing ghosts out of the corners of their eyes or having feelings of being physically pushed.

We moved down in 1994 with my parents when I was 2 years at a high school. We then moved to fort Myers for a couple years then had our house built in Cape Coral in 2001. My parents lived on pine Island until 2016 when they both passed away. I still visit very often since we're so close.

Awesome- thanks for the info and your prompt reply. I’ve been a subscriber to your awesome channel for some time. Sorry to hear about your parents. The reason I asked was that we have been going to Pine Island for a few years and we love it. We hope to retire there soon and I’m trying to do my homework before then. Thanks again.
