Another great rendition by Tim Foust. Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? He has a 5 octave range. I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.

Like all the men in Home Free, Tim is a vocal chameleon! His 5+ octave range is impressive. Tim, Chance & Austin are each song writers; Tim's originals include "Remember This", "May As Well Be Me", & "What's Left Of My Heart". His duets with Austin are "My Maria" & "What's It To You" (on Austin's channel) and he has a side project "Alley Cats"!
His voice is amazing. Perhaps you may want to check out the original recordings. An all-girl group named the Shirelles made "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" in 1961. Maurice Williams and The Zodiacs made "Stay". I don't know what year, but it was called the "Do Wap Era." Back then you had to know how to really sing and not rely on synthesizers, and auto-tune. Everything was mono and not in stereo. Radio stations were AM only. Life was simple then.

I knew you would enjoy that one, Saeed, as much as Home Free's cover of "Mayday" ( original version was sung by a girl, Cam). They did an awesome job, and you will be quite surprised as to who does what, lol. They have so many covers and originals..way too many to name.. I tell ya, their rabbit hole is so dang deep, once you go down it, it's hard to climb out 😊. I grew up in the 60's, born in the 50's in part of the doo-wop era and the Beatles invasion 1964..loved all music from those genres as well as the 70's and 80's..and as others have said, no Autotone way back in the early genres.. you had to have a great singing voice, music depended on it. BTW, there was a movie out called The Jersey Boys. .based on how Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons got their start..a great movie to watch, and you may even recognize some of their songs. Great reaction!!
