My little 21 month old girl is OBSESSED with this video. She runs up to me with my phone and yells "dada, dum dum dum I want it" and we, with no exaggeration watch this 30+ times a day and everytime it brings the same great smile to her face. It's her favorite song without a doubt.

OLDIES BUT GOODIES
Last January (2021), I went into the hospital with Covid. While I wasn't really the sickest I'd ever been (not even close, actually), my doctor told me I'd recover from the Covid pneumonia faster if I were on oxygen for a few days. Who am I to argue...? As you might imagine, being in the hospital is boring. Literally (yes, Tim, I know what the word means, and I'm a bit too old to be kicked in the teeth - I've seen 'Uncle Tim Runs His Mouth' ;) ) Since I, literally, had nothing better to do, I decided to scroll thru TH-cam (seriously, have you EVER watched TV in the hospital?) and stumbled across 'Man of Constant Sorrow' by Home Free.
Honestly, when I saw the screenshot, I thought it was a bunch of dudes dressed in country garb, getting ready to do a Death Metal version of the song. Mind you, I didn't read ANY of the comments. So I figured, what the hell... right? I had nothing better to do. Literally. I couldn't possibly have been more wrong, nor surprised. Nor could I have been more impressed. So then I started watching other videos. Elvira, Champaign Taste on a Beer Budget, Seven Bridges Road, Butts Medley (y'all had WAY too much fun on that one), Flowers on the Wall (I'm old enough to have seen the Statler Brothers in concert) and many more. I watched Home Free videos for four days. Well, when nurses and doctors in their Minion-esque bio-suits weren't bothering me.
What did I do next? Sent the videos to my mother, who uncoincidentally since we were together during December, was in a hospital in Florida with Covid. She loved them, as did I. While I'm writing this, in part, to say how you and Home Free touched a very bored man while recovering, and a very sick older woman (if I call her elderly, and she would somehow stumble across this, I'd cease to exist...), there's another part to this...
Back in September, my dad passed away due to post Covid complications (yes he had it too, was in the hospital for 57 days). When you released this song, I immediately went back in time to when I was a kid, listening to all the music mom and dad had bought thru the 'Time Life' commercials on TV (it was the 80's after all...) and played non-stop. Then you go and release 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow'. BOTH instantly forwarded to my mom, as well.
Man, you have a God given talent that has brought a LOT of joy to people. It may just be my opinion, but your singing abilities are incredible. Thank you for sharing it.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go get my wallet so I can order this CD...
What is it with bass singers and cloning? First Geoff, now Tim... Is it a natural phenomenon, or is there some mad scientist out there creating test tube bass babies? The world may never know. In all seriousness though, this was a super fun and catchy song, and Tim killed it like we all knew he would. I especially love Left Tim's fangirl screams when Bass Tim goes bassy. Who knew Tim's clones would react to his low notes in the same way we all do? Nice job Tim! (Or should I say Tims? Tim-tet? We'll figure it out 😉)

can never get tired of listening to that oh my gosh voice! I prefer bass but what can anyone say about Tim's amazing range! absolutely LOVE the Doo wops! I was born in 63 but have always loved the oldies....I love Home Free I remember when Dire Straits did Brothers in Arms have to say Tim and Chance do a far better version Please please please don't stop bringing us those beautiful sounds!

I just took a look to see what else you recorded on this album and bought it on the spot. You did one of the 3 songs I and my husband saw as "ours" when we first started dating, "In the Still of the Night".
It takes me back every time I hear it. It played over and over on a possessed jukebox at a burger dive we stopped at on our first weekend get-a-way together, and was the running joke between my husband and I ever since. Everything that night went wonky, and somehow it ended up being one of the most romantic and memorable nights we've ever had.
