I mean it could lead to some very interesting display combinations, but it seemed like Playmates were stuck on a hook to make people want to get the whole set and somebody in the room was like "'let's just jumble their parts around" and everybody looked around said "OK?!" lol. I actually dig the extra accessories more than the interchangeable limbs as well as the extra details, and you know fanny packs are going to make a comeback at some point. But all the Leo shade is hurting my soul lol. Shout out to BeLikeBlackMike5 we're in alignment on our favorite turtle. Leo is the front man, gotta have his face on the box if you want to move units 😉

I’m pretty happy with my movie versions of these figures, I thought the pop and swap feature was cool but I’m more into just displaying now so the standard versions work fine for me. Great video!
They knew EXACTLY what they were doing by placing Leonardo on ALL of the packaging. They need these new turtle toys to sell. That’s where Leonardo marketing comes into play. 🐢🔵⚔️😁😁

I picked up Donnie & Raph from this series. They aren't too bad if you are going to just vanilla pose & put them on the shelf. I think if they were fully articulated, they would be 💯 better, though. The mix & match gimmick would be better if they actually included alternative parts instead of the same sculpt that the actual figure comes with. Like give the Metal Head head that Donnie comes with a different expression than what the Metal Head figure comes with.
I was born in 82, so also not my generation. I think kids will have a lot of fun coming up with stories during play to explain the mix up, which is not a bad thing at all. I thought the movie was fun, but I don’t like the look of the animation style… I liked the April chapter the best, but nothing compares to the 90’s cartoon when comparing movies and TV shows. I just discovered the IDW collections and highly recommend them to teenagers or old school fans.

Are you also a collector of the garbage pail kids cards and figurines and cabbage patch kids? Gurl , I know that I'm asking you too many questions. And I do have more , but it's not enough space in this little box. Lol !
I haven't seen the new movie and I don't plan on seeing it. I saw that the toy line for that movie went on clarence right away. Even at two dollars a piece for the four turtles, I refuse to invest any type of money into anything that comes from that movie. The turtles look like shit! Looking at this image of Donatello on the packaging you have there, I can't help but think, "Is that dude smoking rock?! Is he hitting the glass pipe?!" Looking at him, I can literally picture him saying,"I got these cheese burgers, man!"
You gunna try the new mutant mayhem game when it drops hun, also the branding for these packaging are a bit off tbh I don't know why they did that on the back
