I got this a few years back and recently got the newer MVS mini version which is Red and has a few extra games. I love Mini arcades and consoles and collect a few here and there. FYI, non-video related, they just came out with an official Hasbro TMNT & Transformers collab figure. The turtle transforms into the Turtle van. And the bandana and belt buckle are interchangeable with all 4 turtles, including with all their weapons.
The Neo Geo Mini becomes a better system when you pair it with a 8-Bit Do Neo Geo CD controller that actually has a Clicky thumbstick. The original controller NeoGeo created their on Neo Geo CD controller but the thumbstick is actually an analog that does not feel right on any 2D game. So yeah, get the 8-Bit Do version and you will be set.
Neo Geo, was so expensive back in the day! I only played in the arcade/gamerooms, or I waited for the games to be ported to the less expensive consoles.😅

Love this video from start to finish but... you know your favorite person got some things to say. 1) The Neo Geo is absolute fire and I did wanted one of those minis when they first released it. 2) You picked one of my favorite Neo Geo shooters Last Resort. Rapid fire you need for that game. You also have another great shooter in Blazing Star that you'll love as well. 3) Other games you should feature: Blazing Star, Sengoku 3, King of the Monsters 2, Shock Troopers 2nd Squad, Crossed Swords, Mutation Nation and either Super Sidekicks/or Football Frenzy. Also on Last Resort, shoot the flying enemies to collect your weapon attachment: Heat Seeker (H) or Laser (L) and you can build it up more as you collect them. Again great video and keep them coming....and That's What She Said lol 😂

There is actually no need for a NeoGeo mini! If you have any PS/XB/Nintendo console system or PC...you can get every perfect Neo Geo game with modern filters, display options, difficulty settings and others with each game costing less than £7.

When you play the system on the big screen via hdmi instead on the system itself, you take away the original feel that it was intended for. The screen is just too small for my taste.
