Australia already has a Martian as their hero. In JLA: Secret Files and Origins #1, Martian Manhunter says that he is more recognized in Asia, Africa, and Australia than Superman himself. This is due to him centering on foreign countries because he has a lack of a ties to America. Although, there isn't a series that focuses on this and this is also Pre-52. In an interview with MM it's mentioned that there are rumors of an Australian movie coming out next summer with Gregory Reed playing MM.
She's one of my favorite characters, so it sucks how she doesn't get much of a 'break' but yet at the same time isn't shown with her full potential. She could be such a strong hero or villain. She has the potential to exceed Martian Manhunter's strength and is just as strong as Supergirl. It's as if they don't want to make her more relevant because she could potentially outshine Kara or her uncle. A shame really. Btw does she even date Superboy in the comics?

They could use some of the African mythologies, traditions, or histories as a starting point for powers and motivation. We have plenty of folklore, so inspiration is not going to be an issue.
I love every version of miss martian, YJ, pre 52, Smallville etc. I do agree would love if she worked outside america too. This is why i like Brian Azz wonder woman since it was in london. I'm all for them kicking ass world wide. How knows maybe Miss M makes an appearance post convergence and can get a solo like black canary and starfire. I thank YJ for raising her popularity since alot of people are interested in her because of that show.

As an Australian we would love to have Miss Martian but seeing as her weakness is fire and we are notorious for our bush fires and have a hot climate it may not be best.
seems to me miss Martian has great potential with her powers but isn't necessarily a warrior. I think supergirl and Martian manhunter are just more dedicated and skilled than she is

I'm a Brit and I enjoyed the Knight & Square mini series they did a few years back. It was kinda cool seeing the heroes of the DCU's version of my country.

Hey Faust! I decided to try to begin reading comics today, and when I walked into my local shop I was completely overwhelmed. I'm considering subscribing to Marvel Unlimited and I was wondering if you had any tips for beginners and any suggestions to start reading to get used to comics.
Maybe DC can do what they did with Justice League unlimited, where you have tons of many heroes, but then they have 5 or more heroes on a continental base. If they run out they can have some under used Teen Titans heroes to cover the gaps here and there.

Hmm...now that you mention it all the best heroes are based in the USA. I mean like all the best heroes! The Avengers, the JLA, the X-Men, the Fantastic 4, and even the Teen Titans. However I do like Big Hero 6 which is supposed to be based in Japan. Plus Canada has Alpha Flight (forgive me if that's incorrect) and they're alright.

Me and my 2 friends are new to you´re channel, from when you covered for benny or rob :) We love it, the thing is that its so hard to watch all you´re videos when you don´t have a playlist. Cus when you don´t have a playlist its imposible for uss to watch anything older then 40-60 videos.
What about a new Justice League International where Miss Martian is a leader of the Australian chapter? By doing this they can do the new 52 Miss Martian, introduce a couple of new superheroes, and allow the more funny and less serious division of the Justice League be replaced after Maxwell Lord's attempted takeover despoiled the name. By creating a new JLI we can see more countries in the DC universe and not just the countries they made up for convenience. What are your thoughts fellow youtube watchers and Faust?

As someone who in the real world would do almost anything for a do-over like she's had the ironic mixed blessing to have available to her: I'd say that having your more virtuous self being the personality permanently in charge is a tremendous blessing. I simply am smart and well-trained enough to avoid doing that in the real world, for better or for worse!

I think the problems with comic stories out side of the us it is hard for a US writer to really feel and understand the culture. would rather see a well done US comic then a stereotyped version of another culture.
I'd agree with that if half the people at DC weren't from outside of the US. Since the early 90s, DC has mostly been hiring people from other countries.
