    I was expecting to see this ON a blanket. How do I start on a blanket that I crocheted using the half double crochet pattern??

    Wow....awesome! You made this simple, easy to follow. Thank you! I wish everyone, making crochet tutorials, were as good as you are. Not too fast, not too slow, and explain your hand movements, throughout. Wonderfully done!

    This looks kind of intense but I believe I can do it. I have saved this to my “borders” playlist. I’ll pull this one out when I find the right project. That just might be the cowl I’m currently working on. I want an edging I can put buttons through. I just have to figure out if it will work for what I have in mind. Thank you!

    I hope you don't mind me saying, but the "wrap the yarn around your hook" is called "Yarn Over" (YO)
    I've been searching for a nice border for a boy blanket & I believe I have found it. Thank you so much for sharing this video and teaching us this stitch.

    I really like this edging. I have made a blanket as a gift and am looking for an edging and i think I'm going to use this one. Question, Do you make the edging first then attach it or do you just start making the edging on the blanket. Thank you for this tutorial.

    • @ThePatternFamily
      @ThePatternFamily  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Rhonda Richter I would make this edging directly on the blanket but it can work either way. :)

    Question:: I'm making infinity scarves and looking for a nice edge to complete the scarf. I like this one but was wondering if I start with the edges first or do I finish the scarf and then go back and put the border on??

    • @ThePatternFamily
      @ThePatternFamily  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Kathryn Czajkowski It will be best to finish the scarf first and make the edging afterwards.

    if doing a blanket what do you recommend for the corner?

    • @ThePatternFamily
      @ThePatternFamily  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will make two of those in the same stitch, only on corners. I haven't tried it but I believe it will work.

    Hi there, would you recommend this edge for a bulky style blanket?

    • @ThePatternFamily
      @ThePatternFamily  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I would. If you don't like how that one turns out, then try one of these:
