- This is probably my new favourite border to use on my projects! I love how simple it is, but the effect if beautiful, when done in all one colour or even multi colours. The edges are perfectly straight and the corners are so sharp!

I am so excited!!! I’m finishing up my first ever C2C blanket for my 6 yr old grand daughters Christmas present and I am super thrilled to put this border on it! I’m working with the Red Heart Super Saver color Flamenco, and her favorite color is purple, so I’ll be using a few different shades of purple for my border! Thank you so much for the tutorial! 😊😁

For those in the USA the stitch she called ''double crochet" is what we call single crochet!

Great tutorial but what bothers me is the c2c stitches are so tight and smashed. The hook is definitely too small.

I use U.K. terminology - so my U.K. double crochet is a U.S. single crochet ☺️

I love this border! Since I learned it I haven't wanted to finish any of my other blankets with a different border. I love how it makes a slightly wonky blanket look so neat and the edges and corners so straight. It just makes my blankets look better. Plus it's very neutral and beautiful and can go with any pattern. Thank you so much for making this video!

This is the perfect border I was looking for my c2c.
You should mention that your double crochet is the American single crochet.
I tried this but had to chain 2 in order for it to work, the chain 1 made it too tight and seemed to shorten the edge. It is a beautiful stitch so I really want to figure it out.

My border seems to be tightening up my blanket even though I am crocheting loosely. Should I go up a hook size?
Yes, I’d definitely recommend going up a hook size if it’s bunching up your main blanket. 🌸

It would be very helpful if you would say at the beginning of your tutorials or have it typed on the screen that you are doing European crochet and not American. I ran into a problem by listening to your tutorial and not watching. My border looked horrible. I pulled it out 3 times. Finally, I watched the video and I could see that when you said double crochet you really were doing single crochet. I loved the border.
Sharon Gregg Anytime you hear an English accent, there is a good chance that the stitches will be UK, not USA. It’s up to you to check that. Good luck as you complete your blanket. 🗺

This border looks so nice on the blanket I made for my niece’s first baby and I absolutely love it. Since then, I have tried to put this border on 18”x24” seed-stitched preemie blankets, but the borders keep bunching (warping). Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I really like this border, you're instructions are clear (I know from your accent that I have to "convert" the stitches you are talking about), but that camera angle is a killer.
This is the only video of yours I've seen, so I don't know that you haven't improved :)

@bloosom crochet. Question have you ever tried a susan bates crochet hook? The hook that you use has a "too hooky" head on it.(hooky) If that is a word. I notice that it slows you down with hesitent movements(which you do a lot.. not sure if you notice it) you have to "try" the stitch a second time a lot. I think you will have faster and better stitches with a flater head hook. Just an observation. 4:18

I love this border, I did a C2C baby afghan and then a 52” x 62” C2C throw with the moss stitch border…I love how it sharpens the corners!
Is this not US terms? It looks like you are doing a single crochet (US). Which I think is a double crochet in UK terms. Am I correct?

I love this border but it’s very frustrating that you don’t show how to tie off. You just switch colors and keep going! Ah I’m at the end and not sure what to do or how to knot it
