I have to have been listening to this country music. What? It's doing what I call. It's a Colorado I get a Colorado. But I listen to Country music. I get the fact I can't fail unlocked. I'm breathing and call Chris mountain. Or I'm in the Rocky mountains. I am up under a waterfall.I am not beautiful half naked.Women everywhere, that's a good Colorado. It's a good fate on country music.Find your own colorado
Girl you are gonna make all of us cry . My eyes are leaking profusely. I feel your pain , never apologize, you are human and our souls feel emotions. God bless you and your family Angela .
My mom had a lot of severe emotional issues. But my dad stood by her for years until she passed. It wasn’t easy but he was there. I admire him so much for that even though he is gone now. My wife and I have been married for 50 years now. This song really touched me.
King George...What can I say, Scores of CMA awards and #1 Hits, I've followed his Career since the 80"s, Hit's like, "Check Yes or No, "Amarillo By Morning" "Baby Blue" just to name a few.....All Classics, and Angela, Thank You for Everything You Do...
No need to say sorry beautiful lady, I'm glad to see in your reactions how real you are and how you really listen to the message. My favorite reaction you did was a song by Colin Rate called Love Me. Please never stop being who you are, much love Angela 😊
Thank you for sharing! I lost my wife of 21 years three years ago at the age of 47. this was our wedding song. I understand why you're emotional about it. You are a beautiful person inside and out! You deserve a love like this and the best life has to offer. You will be in my daily thoughts and prayers.
Still the king of country. George isn't flashy, neither are his songs but they are just so good and meaningful. Sounds like you had and have the best parents anyone could ask for. Sorry you've lost your father, it's never easy. But cherish your time with your mother. You'll find your soul mate. Good guys, solid men do still exist. Don't settle, you deserve the best!
I remember this song really early in my marriage ( 1988) and I am blessed that we both still feel the same! Not an easy task! I hope everyone finds love like that!-#stillgoingstrong❤
My first two favorite songs from memory, from when I was about 4 years old in the mid 1990's, was Alan Jackson "Chattahoochee" and George Strait "Carrying Your Love With Me". At that age, I had to spend all day in an empty car-shop with my dad, bored out of my mind. Those two songs coming onto the shop radio were the only highlight of my days.
You learn to live with losing a parent, but you don't ever 'get over it', especially when the relationship was a good one. Songs are definitely one of the big sources of things that can stir up emotions, but that's a good thing. I lost both of my parents years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of them in some way. So, the good news is that you never really lose them completely. They are always with you.
I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and one of my favourite quotes is by Harry's godfather (and Harry's murdered father's best mate) "Those who love us never truly leave us, and we can always find them... in here ❤."
It absolutely does not matter your situation or what you're going through. There's already a country song about what you're going through. So what I'm saying is there's a country song forever. Situation for anything you're going through
John Anderson, that's right, john anderson. He does a song with Bellamy bellamy brothers and John Anderson. The song is called no country music for old man. Go break that one down, that's it's real good😊😊😊
Glenn Campbell did a lot of good things a lot of good songs I said now but the best song it gland never did? I hate that's right Tanya Tanya Tucker. Oh yes she's lovely it's sucks up such a little perfect of sweet voice
It's a tear jerker. Music and lyrics are poetry in motion. Good choice.Thx Angela. You have a tender heart and beauty from the outside and down to your soul. You should be loved and cherished.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was married to the most wonderful lady for 32 yrs. She passed in April. I took care of her for the last ten years. We had the kind of relationship described in the song - unconditional. I said that to say this: Angela, you will find "that" man. With the tender heart I see in you, you deserve the best. Don't settle for anything less. "Best" doesn't mean "perfect"...(hair, clothes, cars, houses, money)... it means the one that you connect with, where there is mutual trust and unconditional love. My lady & I met, connected, and three months later were married. She wasn't the perfect package on the surface, and had baggage (2 kids and an "ex", some physical issues, and she wasn't rich), but that didn't matter. What DID matter is that she loved God, and that was all I needed.. I didn't find her until I gave in and stopped looking for what I thought I wanted. So you hang in there young lady.. You're young, beautiful, smart, and, I think, have a pure heart. You need to make sure you know yourself, and can function as a complete person on your own, and you will have SO much to give. You are the answer to some GOOD MAN'S dreams. Ok. I'm done now. 🙂
Angela, you have genuine emotions. I love to see that. Lost both my parents, dad at 56 and mom at 71. Life is short but we can make memories to last a lifetime. They make us laugh and sometimes make us cry but all memories are worth it. God bless you; you are a beautiful young woman with lots going for her. Stay strong and give your mom a call. Sending you lots of love.
This is from the soundtrack of the movie PURE COUNTRY; that's what all of those video clips were about. George is so dedicated to his wife that he refused to kiss his romantic female lead in this movie. He's one of the good ole boys!
Great choice, here in Texas George is king,he is an actual Cowboy, horses cattle and all,he tragically lost his daughter in an accident when she was a teen, his song “Baby Blue”is more or less about that, also Tracy Lawrence” Texas Tornado” is one of my favorites
Angela, You said you admire great love songs. Well; here is one from a man expressing his appreciation for his women. Gerry Rafferty, " Right down the line" I think you will love this one!!!
I think it's what everyone is looking for in life as a real connection. With someone It's a fragile relationship but it's a beautiful one. And I think there's very few that find a real fragile one. I just want.
My parents recently celebrated 50 years together!! Love that we had these amazing relationships goals to look up to while growing up. Sounds like your parents were the same!! And, don’t ever apologize for your feelings. King George has that effect on all of us. If you want a song with a similar message, check out “Look at Us” by Vince Gill, we played that at my parents anniversary party! ❤
It's ok I know completely how you feel Angela, I think you need to rename your channel "DayOne Honestly Reacts".😉 Sometimes the Humanity in us all or what I know to be our True Selves our Soul steps forth and overcomes the many ways we try to cover with our physical body with fake smiles, many false words or what I like to call our false bravado. I love your honesty and emotions in your reactions. Many reactors channels just seem to be playing a part, saying they think people want to hear you know just winging it but you can tell and they are not in it for the True Community and appreciation for one of the Greatest Gifts God gave us Music. I think it's wonderful how your soul is moved many times and you always have such a good grasp on the music. Thanks again for another great reaction and time spent with me and all your listeners I know we all appreciate you.🤠 Your Texas Fan, God Bless.
Another favorite of mine, all his songs are great and Angela, I’m glad to see that you still believe in marriage and commitment, too many people don’t anymore
Wow..I'd never heard of George Strait before..unfortunately over here 🇬🇧 there just isn't the interest in country music .. my dad was American and I lived in the states for a while..Michigan..we always had the country station on the radio..so I am definitely going to look into this wonderful singer and lyricist..you described it perfectly..prayers for your friend..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👍👏🇺🇸
George has 60 #1 hits. He is called 'King George' by the country community. This was when he was a baby. Check out 'Troubadour' for a mature version of this amazing talent. Traditional country, through & through. He can make you laugh or make you cry... make you fall in love or face a broken heart. 'You look so good in love' is another pretty one. clips are from a movie he did called 'Pure Country'.
@@cathybrookeburt2616 Thank you so much Cathy for the info on George..I will indeed look up those songs..he made me cry with this one ..we miss so much good country music over here..maybe its because we never had cowboys really I don't know..but having experienced it when I lived in the states and through my dads love of the genre I do love a good country song..nothing makes you cry like a country song..👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
@@kimmarievan-ever6599 If you want to see cowboys, check out 'Troubadour' for sure. He also was a champion rodeo cowboy & that video shows clips of his career in music & in his rodeo days. Great song & video.
My niece asked me to sing at her wedding about 20 years ago and this was one of the songs she chose. It made a couple of her friends cry too so don't feel bad. I think this was a popular wedding song for awhile.
A beautiful song and I can see how it affected you , making you remember. Recently I had a big birthday and had a do with many friends and when I spoke to thank them, I was emotional ,sometimes it just wells up inside of you. Big hugs to you-Colin Ward
Thanks for sharing about your friend! Unfortunately life is not a walk in the park for anyone! Some peoples burdens are heavier than others! All I can offer is I wish everyone all the best at every moment! No one knows the outcome of anything, but hopefully we will all overcome all our darkness and demons in the end! Let's hope this comes to pass because we all deserve a happy ending! Bye for now!
No shame. This is what a true reaction is. Lost my Dad in 1990 to alzheimers. My Mom cared for him as long as she could. Alzheimers is an incideous disease. It takes the person but not the shell. Mom made chocolate chip cookies daily and carried them to him in the nursing home. He could not remember her but he remembered those wonderful cookies. The nurses never complained, they cleaned him up after every visit, he had chocolate all over him. Like a small child. We lost her in 1995.
Great songwriting advice from King George, he picks/writes songs that have really strong melodies, he said a great melody can overcome not so great lyrics...but it doesn't work the other way! Thanks for not cuttin' your emotions outta the vid and bein' honest, glad Ol' Strait is hittin ya where it counts! That song was from his 1992 film "Pure Country", its pretty good!
I'm 38 and I'm going through so tough medical issues at the moment, I've been through a lot of bad relationships and and I've been divorced once already....but I've recently entered into an absolutely amazing relationship and this is exactly how her and I make each other feel, whi her is why this is the first song that I've dedicated to her.
A relationship is like a roller coaster you have your up's and downs good times and bad times being with a woman you care about is never easy at times and sometimes it's easy.
My favorites from King George are So Much Like My Dad; I Cross My Heart; You Look So Good In Love; Love Without End, Amen; Carrying Your Love With Me; The Cowboy Rides Away; What’s Going On In Your World; Today My World Slipped Away; When Did You Stop Loving Me; I’d Like To Have That One Back; The Best Day; and I Know She Still Loves Me.

Either very good actress or his spouse. The way she looked in his eyes in a couple scenes would be near impossible to fake. Lovely reaction (as usual) Angela. Favorite memory? In the mid 50s I was their only child, still very young I can remember them dancing in the kitchen. Don't think any of the others got to see that side of them.
Ive been married for around 45 years. We dont hate each other but we dont like each other all that much. The good thing is we each have our own bedrooms. I agreed to stick with her and did and will, but its sure not what i wanted it to be like.
starting to see why this man has had 60+ number one songs

I’m fortunate in that both of my parents are still going strong at 92 and 91 and approaching their 65 wedding anniversary.
