I remember an interview with Garth Brooks where he mentioned opening for George Straight. He said they really didn't do much when he introduced himself, but when George came out, all he did was smile and he crowd went freaking nuts 😅
My husband and I went to his concert in November 2020, he sounds just as amazing today! We went to Alan Jackson in August 2021, he still sounds good as well! 2 legends of my time!

When I married for the 2nd time, my husband told me that he could almost picture my ex singing this song. I was married to my first for 24 hard years but my late husband (my 2nd love) used to take me dancing and we would waltz to this song. The thing that makes George Strait who he is; is the fact that he is a singing cowboy and true to that life, Strait own a huge ranch in Texas, he is a Championship level team roper in the Rodeo's, when he sings about the cowboy life it become real to listen to. He is another that only needs a guitar and mic to blow people away. Hands down in the top 5 in Country Music starts for me. Love your works; keep it up.
