People give him so much hate for his honest opinions but damn he wears his heart on his sleeve and he faced so much adversity. People don’t get how much he tries, what he’s really been through to come back.
2021 the crf 450 was so bad. Rolf (his German suspension god) always said this bike will kill him.
If Ken would have been on any other brand he would’ve been ama sx champion 21.
I think him winning this title made his sacrifices worth it.
I look forward to WSX taking off. The rest of world deserves to see it live. It will get better. How can all these people hate on a series that wants to pay the racers? I do not remember people knocking the 500/125 class champs for just doing a few races back in day.
Let me repeat that Ken you know you are a leader when other leaders follow you you're able to lean into the pressure and feel very comfortable being uncomfortable I challenged the other riders to learn the same.

This was a 2 round series championship but technically it was *6* races
Ken brought supercross to Cardiff and I will never be more grateful to see all the world fastest riders from America race in are home town its an experience that will last a lifetime for me 😊 all the guys smashed it

I said it before and I’ll say it again. I believe becoming the face for WSX is the move for Roczen. It will probably be far more rewarding than being an add on or late addition to an AMA Supercoss team. Unless GasGas truly does add another 450 bike, his options on that front will likely be slim anyway. So, it makes a lot more sense to go spend at least this year becoming the face of this new venture if the finances can be worked out. See what comes of it and then go from there. It probably would be a lot more fun too.

I had that idea of him being on GasGas as well; Troy would have another 450 rider that has a lot of starpower, Ken Gets to Satisfy RedBull, and Ken is not asked out of a ride.
GasGas Sounds reasonable but for Ken being a Face of Something is huge. Either way I wish him the best GasGas or Honda and definitely he should stick with the WSX 🤝

It’s about contracts, budgets, and sponsor obligations/preferences at this point. It won’t be easy to get a contract done at this point. Possible but not easy. WSX is a new frontier where both could have lots of opportunity.
I loved the format and the tracks I hope Kenny takes the ball and runs with it
I'd like to see the WSX go to the same level as the MXGP. As a compliment like it is in the US. More international series is better for the sport as a whole.

@@llLeezy Yeah use the flyway race gate numbers to judge the whole series. The fact remains sponsors continue to come to MXGP despite either of our opinions.
I want WSX to make it so that we have more races to watch but if they don't change some things, a lot of people are going to stop watching. The 3 short races back to back ruins it as at minimum, they need to alternate 250 and 450 to build the excitement up. They also need to get rid of those terrible quality cameras and wait to show any replays until after the races. They'll spend 2 minutes of a 8 minute race showing footage that looks like it's from the 1970s. I realize it will hopefully get better over time but these 2 rounds were so amateurish that it was very much like XFL football. Even the way Ralph kept talking as if he was trying to convince the crowd why this is better than the real Supercross when it wasn't even close. Get it together WSX or this will be dead in a couple years.

Joey has grown into a likable guy....when he was 14 I wanted to throttle him, so glad to see all his hard work paying off...and to be honest he is the best underdog in this sport. I'd like to see him succeed one of these days.

Not to take anything away from anyone and I know it was a taster series but world champion after 2 rounds I think is abit much it needs to be a full race series just my opinion, so happy to see Kenny back on top can't wait to see him race a full series back being himself

Ken just summed up why WSX is going to struggle. When he said, this title means more to the team than it means to him, is very telling. The WSX champion actually said the quiet part, out loud.
I think it wasn't that important to Ken mostly because this is the inaugural season. Only 2 rounds, mostly lower-level pros... All of that will start to change next year.
Ken is really like those 8 lap races :)

The results would have been that ET3 would have just gone 4 for 4 with Titles in 2022, being SX/MX/MXON & clearly would have also Won the WSX Title as well..!
I was at the first rd. if kenny had got the start the results that night would have been different. The track wasn’t tough enough to separate Rocky and Tomac it was all down to the start.

@@llLeezy was you there at Cardiff ,, Kenny was fastest in qualifying, fastest super pole , won qualifying race , constantly jumping the quad that Eli didn’t ,, holshot and was winning first final until he unfortunately lost the front, then 2 poor starts. That night between Eli and Rocky the difference was the the start ,, Regards JS17 Rocky didn’t need to pass him to win the championship just like that time Eli didn’t need to beat Herlins at iron man to win the championship ,, remember that day ?

If Kenny can ink a deal to be the face of WSX in these early years of the new promotion, and be part of it growing to be a truly respected World Championship event…
That’s legacy, money aside for now, that’s the move.
Kenny could be the first to become known genuinely as a worldwide superstar of the sport, in countries that haven’t even seen it yet.
He also seems the kind of character who could build that legacy and be the Rossi of the sport.
I think Jase said recent on a podcast “do the fans realise Rossi isn’t racing?” that the kind of star power Kenny has the chance to build here.
I think Jett could create a similar legacy too if he gets a deal that allows him to join a WSX team too, but not sure that’s on the cards just yet.
Congrats to Ken! Long, hard fought championship. And man so much adversity he had to overcome over the entire 2 week season

I understand why people from around the world want to see this happen. But I don't understand and American wanting to see the WSX make it. It's going to be in direct competition to American outdoor motocross. One of them will HAVE to go.

@@jerrymcdonell I don't know how "extreme" it is. The fact that, next year riders will have to decide between outdoor nationals or WSX is a simple fact. I will never support anything that hurts the outdoor. Perhaps it's just because I'm old (I was a teenager when supercross began) but I care about motocross as the sport I love, followed by Supercross as something to watch in the winter.

The video quality during the races needs a lot of improvement. Coming from watching supercross year after year in the states. This looked very not professional as far as camera work. Just seems like the camera is all over the place and the onboard cameras are bad bad quality. They should really figure that part out and figure the streaming out where it's not delayed 24 hours. Jase you do an awesome job.

I really liked the on bike cams, yeah they weren’t perfect but to be broadcasting live with bike cams is a first isn’t it? Few bugs to iron out no doubt, but with the Motorsport and broadcasting experience the WSX management team have I’m sure they’ll be chasing the newest tech as it improves.
How many spectators showed up the the Aussie round? The UK round looked well attended, Aussie round not so much.

I wouldn't give up US Supercross just yet Europe economy is worse than ours and only getting worse this is not going to make it easy on unnessasary sports to make a big splash just my opinion.
No one is giving up on US SX that will probably remain premium series for years, this can be for the rest of the world.

Be real if Brayton and Freese are fighting for the championship its nothing more then all the other small Supercross series around the world. It's like the minor leagues for baseball. Ken was the only major rider there. I always love to see Kenny do well with what all he has gone through but it's a 2 race series. It's nothing. He is a racer he knows this.
The racing was mediocre. Needs more names. The onboard video was terrible. There is no hype like A1. I hope the series can be better
