I've been saying this SAME THING for yeeeearrrrrrrs. Like I've said on a number of occasions I guess it's going to take someone getting hurt really bad or actual causing a fatality. It's complete BS on the AMA's part. And yes, I'm very aware that this isn't an AMA event; however, it's happened under the AMA "umbrella" on most occasions.

Honestly if you watch the video in slow mo yes he took out Brayton but he was looking at Roczen across from him. Yea that's the thing, if you isolate each case you can somewhat make an argument. But when the same guys are constantly having things "accidents" the arguments of intention start to fall apart. You don't get to that level without the ability to learn from mistakes. The fact that they are still making this exact mistake speaks volumes. They're not mistakes. Otherwise they'd be fixed.
They’re going pretty soft really. Obviously the biggest risk of someone taking your line / front tyre is the first corner, it’s gonna happen and most of the time it’s unavoidable. Sucks that it was his team mate and specifically a guy he has history with but that’s racing. Current riders are starting to sound like they would rather timed racing with staggered starts. Kinda like rally cars. AMA’s overuse of penalties this last season definitely doesn’t help

Was kinda funny hearing Joey say he was thinking about not coming back due to the 'demons' while sitting next to Kenny who at A3 in 2018 specifically wore the same SHIFT gear (While being a Fox athlete) he was wearing when he had his bad crash at A3 in 2017 haha (And yes I know Fox and SHIFT are from the same 'company' but still they never used to mix and match like that)
Brayton is such a class act & a great ambassador of the sport. If there was ever anybody I’d want in my corner, it’s Brayton. He’s the friend that would have your back no matter what. (Well unless you clean him out for the world Supercross championship 😂)
At the end of the day these guys are human beings that control mechanical marvels. I understand their concerns and thoughts, however I loved watching them on Saturday night at Marvel stadium. All these guys are amazing athletes , but Ken is our favorite. Me and my kids love you Ken. 🙂👍

Friese's MO is to get a good start, then slowly move backwards, blocking as much as possible. He had only that first turn or the next one to force past Justin. Then he saw himself inside of Justin and Kenny and he saw his last chance. Great to see Justin call him out in what has otherwise been a very sanitized and scripted pilot season.
Crazy to think that friese is fast but not fast enough to win straight up against everyone however this format played into his favor with consistency he put in great rides every main and set himself up for a tittle and then through it away all in all this shit just serves us fans well but it sucks to the see the people who put in the work and give us racing to watch just to get screwed over but that’s how it goes

So, not taking sides, but here's a different take. Vince is a 14th place 450 supercross rider. That makes him elite in the world. But what it doesn't do is get big contracts that set you up financially for a while when you retire from racing. His body and skill are topped out at 14th. The only way he moves up from 14th is from attrition and he tries to help that along when he can. 14th place is just having enough money to get to next year and nothing more, so he has very little to lose and something to gain. I don't like what he does but I can see why he does it. At this race he was never going to win the championship unless the other guys didn't finish. And a championship for Vince would be life changing.
Friese is like Barcia, they literally have targets on every other riders back, give them a really heavy fine or suspension so it ruins their season, then they might think when they ride.
Brayton fired is still super cool. Sporfsmanship at the highest level. "I just won't baby sit Friese anymore". Converesely, Friese must have at least one tall bolt missing in the head, for thinking he belongs at the top, when he can't control the throttle in a tight turn.
Brayton has all the reason to be upset but to me it didn't look purposely if you watch The reef play from behind Joey and Kenny come together first and it's slows down their momentum enough where they can't make the jump Vince and Justin are right behind them Vince has a lead on Brighton but both Joey and Vince going to that corner and when they get on the gas the bike stands up and they move right into the person next to them Joey bumps into Kenny slows their momentum not able to jump Vince and Justin are behind them unable to jump and they come together and both them coming together and because they're on the uphill fall over there is much less contact between Vince and Justin than there was between Joey & Kenny
Friese has a very long history of this kind of behavior. Like Justin Barcia he needs to be banned from the sport for continual disrespect towards the other riders. These guys need to be held accountable.

What a coward. Joey on the other hand is the epitome of True Grit and is the most unrespected and under-rated in the sport. I have grown to love that guy.

Changing the topic a touch, just heard Brayton say on PulpMX that there was no money bonus or incentive for him to try and win on the weekend, he wasn't overly motivated, as there was nothing in it for him ! They were very surprised to hear that there was no bonus or money in it for him, and Brayton confirmed it... And also the promoters did absolutely nothing about the Friese incident ? I think the whole WSX thing, was a failure, and I'm someone that gets up early to watch live timing of supercross practice in AMA every round, but this thing just fealt flat and uninteresting, especially without the Lawrence's and others racing,
These riders need to Stop being so damn soft. Walk up to him in a bathroom or some other secluded area while no one is around, walk up and punch him in the teeth. He'll think twice before taking you out. When someone knows they can treat you like a punk on the track, with no consequence, they will continue to do so.

Just take a picture, it's a much better way to capture the memory. Also, its probably tiresome to sign a plate/merch for some kids and then see all of it for sale on MX Locker a few hrs later cause someone's dad is a scumbag. Autographs are overrated, imo.
