    I’ve been in Houston for 40 years, stay where you are don’t come. The cockroaches get so big, we’ve adopted them as pets, put leashes on them and take them for walks. The weather is hot, the flooding and hurricanes are something, toughen up butter cup.

      It wasn't snowing...it was a 5 day long ice storm that only happens every 137 years. But thanks for playing. I noticed there were NO outages the past week when it got to 10 degrees this week. BUt the power was out in Portland and all over the north.

      Texas is it's own country, it's similar to like Egypt with a system that pharaoh operates. This state does what it wants to do when it wants. It's literally like bondage when living here. You're a slave. Texas is also a state where you get tuck on a spiders web when you do get here.
      In the beginning it has a honey moon stage, until about 2 years in and then you start to fill the enslavement. It will make you a robot and your people from your home town will see the change good and bad in you. This state is great for those that are use to the fast money making life. I do not see this state as a place where you can settle down and raise a family, it's a "go get it" and "work work work" type of state. Sitting down and relaxing is considered lazy and not taking care or your responsibility. Everything IS big here, including people's PRIDE, EGO, and the amount of cliques is insane.
      This state is only good for those that can make friends easily, and or you have family already here when you move here, because this state, especially in DFW area and Houston, are really about cliques. It's that way in all the cities in Texas really but the more bigger ones are more prone to it.
      The police officers are the same as up north. They are not the nicest. Some are but most are not.
      and in certain place, yes you can get a ticket for speeding on the highway, I did.
      Being here after a while you can become more grimy and hard hearted because you have to get with the society which I hate being a person like that. That's why I am planning to move elsewhere.

    • @mrbabyears
      @mrbabyears 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @EJIMANnenaNgozi I agree. It was all over the internet. You should have a show about it. Blacks in America, in general, have the highest rates of STDs, out of wedlock births. Blacks, in general, don't practice safe dex or birth control. Infact, blacks are now responsible for killing more Blacks through homicides, abortions. Way more than the police. But no one talks about it. This is the show you have. Having sex in the black community is a risky endeavor. And for men, dating and marriage has been very risky when considering current state of affairs. Considering black women are the least married, most obese, overweight. And have the most children out of wedlock, you should have shows about this. There is a silver lining, black have become largest class of investors in the USA. Who knew? That's another interesting topic for your show. I'll subscribe to you for a bit to see what you're going to talk about. Blacks provide a lot of material.

    Ive always said that about Houston heat. Most people work jobs in the A/C so what's going on outside is irrelevant. Plus at night time when most people go out, it isn't bad because it cools down in the evening. Give me heat over cold weather because summer is over after three months, while cold weather can be from October through April in some states. Plus when it's cold, it gets worse at night, which limits people wanting to go out.

    • @EJIMANnenaNgozi
      @EJIMANnenaNgozi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree 100%. Rather be hot anyday. By night time it cools down just need to dress accordingly. Cold weather is gloomy and makes me want to stay in! Ill take 2-3 months of heat vs 6 months of cold any day!

    Great video! I’m looking at moving to Houston. I see some apartments in SW Houston renting in the 700-800 range for a small one bedroom. Should I be skeptical of these places, or is that the norm for the SW Houston area? The prices sound too good to be true, coming from the east coast where the cost of living is higher.

    • @EJIMANnenaNgozi
      @EJIMANnenaNgozi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      SW is more affordable but some parts are a bit sketchy imo. You can start off there then move later? Id recommend visiting the area first.

    • @KB-ke3fi

      SW Houston...you better learn 100 languages. I would recommend far north Houston. You'll find a 2 and 2 brand new with pools and palm trees 1200 sq ft. for about $1300 and private parking or even a garage. Do that on the east coast....cost you $3500 month.
