I tried this recipe and it turned out really good it was soft and fluffy but the only issue is it didn't turn golden brown on top. Is there a specific reason why this happens? I haven't really baked bread before so I am quite new and this was my first attempt.
You cant brush it with milk on top because of the rasp, maybe the reason why it did not turn to golden brown is maybe your tray is too low, try to put it in the middle or adjust the temperature to 180 but keep on eye on it👍

Kasi daw po mas mabilis ang proofing ng bread kapag warm milk, so hindi na niya nilagyan ng warm milk (just room temp) then proofing for 8hrs (under room temp also)

I proof nyo po ang yeast nyo para malaman kung buhay pa at pwedeng gamitin sa pag-bake. In one-half cup of lukewarm water, add a teaspoon sugar, then stir in the yeast. You'll get bubbles in 15 minutes or so. Kung walang nangyari, get a fresh stock of yeast. The water shouldnt be too hot, just comfortable to touch.
@@earthangel5015 she said proof for 8hrs on room temp, & all ingredients are room temp only (even the egg) if you put warm milk u will increase the ability of ur dough to over proof ur bread, then later it will become saggy. Just follow her instructions.
@@earthangel5015 it also depends on the room temp in your place. I'm in North America, and the room temperature is around 21 C. If your room temp is around 28 C, it will be overproofed at 8 hrs, so try reducing the yeast by half.

Hi, 1gram na yeast lng po ba ang nilagay nyo? Di ko pa naranasan na nag defllate agad sya ng two hours. Sobrang hina po ng pagtubo nito kaya dapat sa 2 hours parang hindi parin sya naka tubo.

You cant brush it with milk on top because of the rasp, maybe the reason why it did not turn to golden brown is maybe your tray is too low, try to put it in the middle or adjust the temperature to 180 but keep on eye on it👍

Hindi ba naglasang gas? I mean usually pag ganyan na katagal ang proofing they release too much gas which would lead for the bread to taste like gas.
I think that's the reason why she only used 1g of yeast para di mangasim since matagal ang proofing time.

Use 1/4 tsp instant yeast for 8 hours to rise, 1/2 tsp for 6 hours or 9 to 12 gms for 1 hour proofing or total 2 hours (all proofing stages).

This recipe sucked for me. I left it eight hours over night, and it dropped by morning

Hanggang 3 days po kailangan lng nakalagay sa airtight container. Mga 4 to 5 days malambot parin pero medyo mag iba na yung texture.
I think it would be a lot easier for the viewers if you measure by cups and tablespoons rather than by grams.
