- The Tikka T1X, simply put, is one of the most accurate rimfire rifles to have ever been produced. I used to believe only an Anschutz could give me this kind of accuracy. But, after owning Tikkas. I have been proven wrong. there is one small gripe and I describe it in the video. Thanks for watching! @tikka @sako @BurrisOpticsCompany @CCILeader

Adjust the mag feed lips the TNT is fantastic and accurate and blows up less than the polimer tip. Great compromise between the 20grn and the 17grn polytip.
Love my Tikka and I love a .17hmr
I had a savage that did the same thing. I ended up just taking a small sanding bit and working the edge off of the ramp then polishing it
Mine blew up in 17 hmr.
Blew the mag and mag well right out of it!
Anyone want to share a link on how to modify mag i have same issue with mine
I can make a video on this modification! Great idea
That would be great thanks for the reply.
Such a super easy fix. Its the mag feed lips.
Take a dremel tool and reshape the front of the mag feeding lips, problem solved. You can even do it with sandpaper.
I don't get it... Is there a tutorial for that? 😅
Related to mag height in relation to the bore and feed ramp. As some say, mod the feed lips to let rounds come up higher. In my case, it was a t3x and a B&C stock bottom metal area not deeply enough inletted for the height, rounds would hit bottom of barrel. Forget the measurement, but, between the two stocks there was a difference from bottom metal distance to bottom of bolt.
I have a Savage 93R17HMR-F, I am certain those will work perfectly for my rifle. Although i am located up here at Alaskan and we never seen those CCI TNT option. Only the CCI FMJ's.
I’m guessing the shipping would be disastrous! I’m thinking the way that savage Magazine goes in they will work.
Never had a problem. 93R17 handles everything I feed it, still wouldn't mind a Tikka.
Mine does the same
File lips on ur magazine just enough for ur bullet sits tilted up just a notch and it will feed those perfect. Had same issue
Been shooting The 17s for 20 years. Thanks to Walt Burger he gave us a better selection of bullets 17 to 32 grains tons of testing!!!
Designed a PPC case for 25 grain bullet 4700 feet a second not to good bullet and disintegrated at 80 yards. Killed tons of ground
Squirrels 🕊🕊old soul wraith
My marlin wont feed those bullets either
how long is the barrel...
20” sir!
I have one and that’s all I shoot out of mine your magazine might be over loaded when you over load them they won’t feed the first round
Man that’s wild. Of course I’m joking in the title. Everyone should buy this rifle. I’ve tried single loading in the mag and no dice. I’ll probably grab another mag and see if I have the same issue. On another note, this isn’t all bad as this load is not the best shooter in my rifle.
Interesting
something wrong with the mag, not ammo issue
thats terrible, TNT’s, all i shoot. my squirrel getters. savage bmag
Use dremel to slope that thing that cauth bullet. 20 sec job
I’ve done some weird stuff to guns. But, not sure I can do that!
@@TLHyoutube Done it to my Tikka 17hmr and Tikka 6,5*55 and Marlin 22 lr and 12g Benelli M2
Iam so content! My CZ does that accuracy with none of the feed issues!
I can’t afford to waste ten rounds as ammo is so expensive, we re being priced out of the sport we love,
