Kicking off the Mwanza Youth Basketball League

After months of effort, we have gotten the Mwanza Youth Basketball League off the ground with the help from The Growth Project.
The Growth Project is made up of boys of South Sudanese origin living in Melbourne, Australia who want to give back to Africa through basketball.
They were able to raise funds and get an 8-team school league off the ground.
It was met with great reception and was even attended by members of FIFA along with Members of the Tanzanian Parliament, Angeline Mabula.
It was an incredible experience that bonded kids on two continents together through basketball.
