So many post-Apo ambiences involving zombies never seemed to give you the feeling that this one does. It feels like you're literally sneaking by a whole horde of zombies instead of the zombies being heard from a distance, or they have music playing that's actually overtaking the sounds. It's perfect!
Definitely would not want to fall asleep to this one though. Might end up having nightmares...

so, I have this weird sort of middle ground, with anxiety and comfort, have you ever felt that tingling light feeling, while somewhat having anxiety, but your comfy in a weird way and you don't want to move? like the in between between feeling safe, and scared, but not really FEELING scared, just... you know you CAN be in danger or *feel* in danger in this case, but in a sort of, safe, comforting feeling way?
I'm probably explaining it weirdly, its that feeling you get when your under your covers at night, you probably played or watched something scary, and your in that moment of just scared, and comfortable in bed. usually doesn't last too long, unless you TRY and attempt to KEEP the fear going, even though its a very minimal fear...
I'm wondering if I can use this tonight, to go to sleep ***preferably without nightmares*** to get that feeling and keep it there.

Day 649 since the outbreak.
Came downtown to find supplies. Bad idea to look here, the city is full of these things. There must not have been people here in a long time.
I'm holed up in an old Antique Store. A place called Earl's. Herd must've heard me come in. They just keep wondering around outside and won't leave. They took down this woman an hour ago. There's a few of them still eating her. There's another group of them clustering in front of the door. They shouldn't be able to get in. I pushed a large bookshelf in front of it.
It's been over 2 hours by now. I moved to the back office and killed a ghoul. Must've been the owner. He had a handgun with him, it still had a few rounds in it. The ones at the front door still won't leave, I almost wonder if they can smell me in here. I tried radioing back the camp for back up but nobody's answering. I'm hoping it's just a weak signal or something.
5 hours now. They still won't leave. I think even more of them have shown up. The sun has gone down and I can't sleep. Their moaning and growling is driving me crazy. It's so unnerving. To think these were just people once. There's a staircase. I'm going upstairs to see if I can find anything else there. Hopefully a place to sleep.
OK I found a bed. And the noise is a little less stressful up here. This doesn't look like a typical bedroom. I'm assuming the ghoul I killed downstairs must've been hiding in this building. I'm going to try to get some sleep. Will there ever be an end to this nightmare?
Day 651
Managed to escape the city. That herd in front of the Antique Store finally moved on. Found some supplies to take back. Thank God I didn't go through all that for nothing. 4 cans of peaches, 2 cans of spaghetti-O's some bottled water, even some morphine and a couple first-aid kits, even some books and a bottle of rum. I'm in my car right now on my way back to camp. Should be able to make it back on fumes. I'll make sure to tell Ray, the city has to be off limits from now on. It's just not worth the risk right now. I'm sure Frank will be happy with the rum.
They're . . . they're all dead. Everyone in the camp. Torn to pieces. Gone. I'm back in my car now. Just sitting here in the car taking this all in. A herd must've come through while I was gone. There were 9 of us and now just me. I don't know what to do now. God help us. . . .

This is literally the ambiance of my nightmares. I am terrified of being eaten alive by zombies. Sometimes I have bad dreams where I'm running from zombies, and then they get me and my terror wakes me up. So, I might not be listening to this one for very long because it's TOO good...
I challenge you to listen it to go to sleep for a whole week, chances are, either nightmares for a week, or, you'll stop having nightmares like that in that week like I have after zombie movie month I did ***I just watched zombie movies all month straight nearly, ran nearly out of good ones on netflix those days XD!***
Just let their rotten teeth sinking in your soft flesh, feeling your limbs being torn apart ligament after ligament, your bowels ripped open and the intestine being spooled out like warm jelly yarn. Embrace it. Live it as many times you need, and you will know that life is just a passing. That what lives, ceases to exist one day, only to be projected once again into the cycle. This too, shall pass. Friend, and you won't have nightmares anymore.

Thanks. However, I don't want to sound disrespectful, but 8D is nothing more than a huge marketing lie and absolutely doesn't sound different than regular 2D sound, as there's technically absolutely nothing different. it's a regular left/right panning in both cases.
And all of my pieces have panned (Right/left) sounds. So technically it's "8D" (although, as I said, 8D doesn't exist and is nothing more than a marketing lie).

I’ll start:
“Dear survivor, if your reading this, my name is Anna I came here with my brother Thomas....no he didn’t make it.... Thomas was caught off guard when we rounded the corner of this building... we came around the back so we didn’t see the “ Cougar-Creek Mall” display out front...
He was grabbed from the side and the fucking things nails were already drawing blood before I heard his screams. I was in horror as two more- no thre-
There was at horde. Right around the corner. At least two dozen came flooding into view, grabbing at his flesh and pulling at his hair. They tore him apart. I didn’t stay to watch...I know how it ends when they get you so what would be the point?
Those that couldn’t reach Thomas came straight for me. I grabbed a chunk of concrete from the sidewalk and threw it into one of the shop windows. I ran inside and luckily it was a straight stretch to the escalators,
I ran as hard as I could,
up the frozen escalators I climbed- the dead clawing at my back - once I was at the top I had made some distance between us
I ran until I ended up in this bookshop. There was an “employees only door“ slightly open thanks to an old soda can, I thought I had made it but as soon as I ran inside and turned to pull the door closed one of them was on the door. Before I had I chance to let go the bastards teeth was sunk into my hand. I shot it and slammed the door together.
That was about 2 hours ago...
my hand felt like it was on fire for a while but now it’s just numb. I guess the dead finally cleared out of your reading this, if not don’t worry this little office is secure. there were a few goodies lying around so I gathered them up to pass the time... and my bag, which I’m sure you found on the table already, is all yours, and I already emptied my pockets, the only thing on me as I write this is piece of paper, a dull ass pencil and my 9mm... with a single shot.
... you know I’ve been thinking a lot... you really forget about how Beautiful the world is when your so caught up fighting it... i miss the sun...

Day 720 I’m alive... barely. I lost my people one of which was my 4 year old sister to that hoard outside...god her screams will stay with me forever.. but at least for her it’s over.. only the dead are truly safe. that’s what my father told me before he....before he..before he threw himself at the hoard so me and my little sister could get away... god I miss her.. that sweet innocent girl didn’t deserve what happened to her.. I shot her between the eyes as soon as those hideous bastard grabbed her and big her...she won’t turn...I say to comfort myself you did a good thing...you prevented her from dying a much more painful death...can’t say the same about the others though.. after the zombies were done with them..they got up and started walking again.. I want to put them down but I can’t.. it’s too risky...goodbye my brothers and sisters you were like family to me. I hope you find peace and I’m sorry I couldn’t help you.

boah.... just woke up from a nightmare, dreamt i was in a high plateaued city in Peru, when a zombie and bat-mutation epidemy hit the poeple, i was just wandering through some mountain village when a farmer attacked me, then i realized something is not right and just when a girl zombie approached me, i woke up

Я знал, что мертвецы идут на шум, а в этом городе, где риск нарваться на целую толпу очень велик, нужно действовать аккуратно, если ты хочешь достигнуть цели. А я хотел. В этом городе меня ждали друзья.
Путешествие сюда стоило мне хорошего количества патронов, и нескольких гранат, которые я берег, но я надеялся, что эти потери себя оправдают. В конце концов, я здесь, в Роксити. Че Гевара напрягся и тихо зарычал, это значило что-то движется на нас из темного дворового колодца. Мы присели за мусорным бачком и ждали пока они тащились мимо нас: окровавленные, обгрызенные, мертвые. Их скулеж постепенно удалялся, и я решил выйти, но пес зарычал и пригнул голову, готовясь к прыжку.
Я помнил, что надо быть тихим, и потому достал Зиг Зауэр и прикрутил к нему глушилку. Теперь и я слышал - какой-то отставший мертвец шел к нам и его голодное громкое урчание сливалось с рычанием моего пса.
Я ждал, направив руку с оружием и прикинув где у мертвеца голова. А когда он появился в светлом проеме прямо передо мной - выстрелил. Я послал пулю прежде чем успел разглядеть, что это Робби, мой старый дружбан. Я вышиб ему мозги и некоторое время сидел без движения, пытаясь понять как же чертовски погано бывает на этом свете. Потом я встал и подошел к нему. Он давно уже не был Робби, моим старым другом, но все же я наклонился над ним, потому что на груди у него черным фломастером значилось:
- Если ты все-таки доберешься до Роксити, мы все в 7 больнице на западной улице. Робби передает тебе привет!
- И тебе привет, Робби, - тихо сказал я и оглянулся на Че Гевару. - Двинули, нам предстоит долгий путь.

Shit this is day 3 of me being stuck in this God forsaken building I heard on the radio that the military will be using a10s to clear the area that I'm in I hear faint screaming from other survivors than me I looked outside and saw a exit rout through the parking garage but I'll have to clear the stairs before I go
Day 4- I have only 2 days left to leave before they start dropping bombs on me I haven't cleared the stairs yet because I'm scared I don't want to be eaten damit I'll just do it today
Day 5- I found a survivor in the 3rd floor I looked and they are clean of bites and scratches the zombies haven't let up they are getting closer I can hear them ripping apart survivors God it's getting to me now I can't take this much longer
Day 6- the guy I found disappeared he left me a note saying he was getting supplies fuck I only have a couple days left before the military gets here I'm advising a plan now I'm getting out of here
Day 7- my friend haven't come back yet I have only a bit of water and food left its raining I might catch some water just in case I hate this I miss my mom and sister
Day 8- my friend came back he was scratched up and bitten I took him out but he got me I only have one bullet left I think I'll use it on me....
Day 9- I can feel it taking over the pain oh God save me please it hurts so much the bite it's coming to my brain the military base has been taken over no bombardment for the zombies
Day 10- I'm loosing my eyesight I'm going to use this bullet on me oh God save my soul if anyone finds this read it please you were not alone find help get out of here

Let’s all be honest, we all assume we would be the last survivors, and that we wouldn’t die in the initial chaos, but obviously we would, I probably would unless it happens during the day where I’d be home as I work night shift, but even if we did who’s to say we wouldn’t just do something stupid when we realize what’s going on and it really sinks in that infected people are walking around eating healthy people, I would probably, no definitely freak out, and I like guns so I would probably be the reason there’s 367 zombies in a rural area after the gunshots stop.
I've still yet to find one where the zombies would have the classic moan instead of snarls and growls, I think it's way scarier
