for a reference, i wanted to know how it would feel in a real zombie apocalypse, so i listened to this while on a walk in the nearby forest with my dog, kinda stupid of me, not gonna lie, but really epic. it didn't take long too for me to go back home lmao

Trust me man. A real life zombie outbreak would ruin people. Most people would commit suicide from the horrors it would bring. Technology would slowy cease to exist. Basic things we take for granted. Electricity, to running water. The satellites we have in orbit to run all communications. They would slowy stop working without engineers maintaining them. Society breaking down. Pure chaos. Anyone close to nuclear power plants would be screwed. They would explode over time without people able to maintain them. So lets say lots of the U.S would be unable to support life for thousands of years. The military, along with the governments of the world would be lying to people. Telling people they have things under control. They would claim to have some sort of cure. People infected would have to be shot immediately. Everything you love gone. Pets eaten in front of you. Loved ones. Major confusion everywhere. All local stores would be a breeding ground since thats where people would go before trying to make their next move. The military would bomb major cities to the extreme. The aftermath when news stations say their final farewells. Thats when it will start to sink in that its the end of the human race. Hunting, and searching for supplies would be a daily thing. The conspiracy nut jobs would be fully prepared for this mess. But even in time they wouldn't be able to last forever. Whats left of the governments of the world would cut themselves off to desperately work on a cure. Doing anything they can to save humanity. No more law, and order. Settlements would governern themselves. Unfortunately there would be more messed up people out there. Basic medicine would cease. Only heard immunity survivors would have the highest chance to survive longer. Every day would be a fight to survive. Mentally I personally would lose my mind. Wondering if Im witnessing the very end of the human race. Full on extinction. Wondering if there are scientists out there using what resources they have left to try and make a cure. If one is even possible. I would give up. Thats not even counting mutations. Would the zombies be fast as #### or slow. Would they mutate over time? Would animals get infected? Theres over 7 billion people on this planet. We all go one day. Just hope I never see something like that in our lifetimes lol

I'm just starting out watching The Walking Dead and I'm already loving it and it actually inspired me to make a comic set in the US, of course, but it's not only just a Zombie Apocalypse story but it also begins with The Purge.

Few people would be alive, but otherwise the world would be fairly peaceful if you think about having a stable community.

a week after being separated from the main force, a US Army National Guard unit that was sent into to rescue a group of civilians were stranded in a small town. A journalist attached to the infantry unit decided to document the peace and quiet of the area, as the majority of the infected had flocked to the crash of a Boeing 747 some distance away.
The guardsmen, journalist, and the handful of civilians knew it wouldn't be long until they wandered back.
But until then, they could enjoy the relative peace.
Hopefully that unit would be smart enough to improve the security of their position, have sectors of fire, fallback positions, an escape plan, divvy up work parties, guard schedules and ration supplies. If possible have a party look for clean water and food.
It's creepy because this looks like an oddly familiar place

I think the physical and mental "stress" (for want of a better word) of a "Zombie Apocalypse" would completely sort the men from the boy's, if you will. In other words it would simply be waaay too much for most people and you'd then have your Un-undead crazy's to deal with. Ambience anyone, or a handful of Xanax and a single bullet? 🤔 Everything but the latter as this is actually very chill~🧠👈🏻🍴🤕😋

It's sort of like real life where I don't know rest or peace because I'm always in my trauma, I get fleeting moments of peace but the reminder of what I'm going through is always there, like the zombies in this ambience. I don't know, it's strangely relatable.
You don’t remember the last time you’ve seen another person who wasn’t half-eaten, but you suppose it doesn’t matter. That means they know to stay away from the lone madman who lives in the Old Town, or perhaps you’re the last human alive in the area. Either thought is unpleasant.
Well, like you said, it doesn’t matter. You’ve made it back safe from another scavenging run and you’ve managed to score some good loot today. A few cans of soup, still in date, a loaf bread (you’ll just toss the moldy slice), and a small ham that’s somehow still frozen. You’re gonna be eating good for a while yet.
As you approach your home, you realize that your current base of operations is not exactly conventional; a burned out bookstore near the edge of town doesn’t exactly seem defensible, but after you rebuilt a few walls and boarded some windows, you certainly felt a great deal safer. It’s still structurally sound (as far as you can tell) and it does what you need it to do: it keeps the walkers out, the warmth in, and allows you to get a small amount of sleep.
Speaking of warmth, it’s starting to get dark. The temperature is going to drop and that means the walkers are about to flood the streets. You’d think they’d be attracted to heat, but for some reason they seem to prefer the cold.
Good. You can cook your dinner in piece without worrying about them thinking you’re the main course.
Mmm. Warm food. It’s a nice change of pace. Now that you’ve got some food in your belly, it’s time to start preparing for tomorrow. Where would be a good place to head to for looting? Hmm. Maybe the college campus? The National Guard used to have a field hospital there, or so the story goes. Maybe there’ll be some medical supplies that haven’t been scavenged yet.
Ok, got a destination, now for an equipment check. Pistol, check. Decent amount of ammo too. Knife, check. A little dull, need to sharpen it before you go. Backpack, check. No holes either. Medkit, check..? Shit. Totally forgot about that incident in the supermarket. Need to be more careful with your things. There’s one roll of bandages left and a single shot of painkiller.
Well, let’s hope the field hospital still has some stuff left.

Its been about 3 weeks since the world went to hell you’ve been trying to make it west cause it’s supposedly safe at least that’s what the radio says. You decide to stop at a town the thought of stopping in general makes you feel uneasy but your tired so you concede with yourself. Sitting in a old motel you begin to take stock 2 magazines,at least 4 days of food and water,an old radio and a crowbar. You turn on the radio and hear the same message head west is the gist. For the first time in a few days you feel almost relaxed the doors barricaded and your on the second floor the dead don’t know your there so I guess you can relax. You start eating some cheese it’s and a bottle of sweet tea you found in a vending machine in the lobby and begin to look through your backpack. You pull out your old ipod and lie on the bed putting in the earplugs and hit play the music makes you feel safe you close your eyes and begin to fall asleep what a couple of weeks
Here I am, falling asleep and imagining I’m laying on a stiff, stale smelling sleeping bag on the second floor of some abandoned building while my companion keeps watch over the small fire burning in the trash can. And of course, complete with a herd of zombies and muffled gunshots in the distance.
I may have a problem.
You wouldn't want to light a fire. Gives your position away with light and scent. Use multiple thin layers to create insulation for warmth. Also, use minimal clothing in sleeping bag for max effect if in a safe enough place to do so as well as use coats as a blanket instead of wearing it normally. Shared body heat is also good and use layers underneath you to help maintain body heat and keep the ground/concrete from taking it away.
I can hear the helicopter sound at 2:39 I’m still watching TWD I’m at season 9 episode 3 now and I still don’t know who’s in the helicopter

He sat against a wall with his friend from school, Olivia. They had taken shelter in an old grocery shop, away from the beating rain and wandering zombies. He set his backpack to the side, opening it and pulling out a dirty plastic container. Streaks of dirt are dried on the container, and the text was scratched out. He pressed down on the lid, twisting it and opening it, peering inside.
One. There was only one pill left. Once he peered inside, a masculine voice spoke inside his head. "That thing? Hah. You tried so hard, and to relative success, I'll give you credit for that. But where did that get you now? You shut me out, only to realize that you can get rid of me for only so long. Come on. Swallow that pill. You'd better savor it, you absolute disgrace." He smacked his head a couple times. "Get out of my head," he thought. Olivia, who was looking at the ceiling, glanced at him. "Jacob?" He stared toward the ground before wearily answering. "Yeah?" He looked toward her, picking out the last pill from the container and popping it in his mouth, and swallowing.
"Do you want to head to the drug store and see if there's any more left?" He shook his head, although the anxiety of them coming back started to dawn on him. "I'm sure the NERA guys will have some once we get to the outpost." He stood up, throwing the backpack over his shoulder. He offered Olivia his hand, she took his hand, and he pulled her up. "The rain should distract the zombies." He walked outside, setting off toward the NERA outpost.

Went to checkout my old neighbourhood out, not that much walkers. went to check out my house and.. bad idea, there were 9 zombies in the basement looking like it was a meth lab.. me and my friends got outta there really quick. My friend wanted to prank us by firing 2 shots of a 5.56x45mm NATO rifle from on of the Marine bases nearby. Bad freaking idea. there was a huge horde of walkers and runners.
