Lol didn’t want paint on those shorts🤣 and thank you we loved how all the colors came together! We were so iffy on each color choice but when everything came together it looked really nice 😄
😄 I’m most comfortable in socks and slides lol. Melyssa insists that I toss them but there so comfortable from being worn in for so long 🤣🤣 I might repair and spray them over to look a little more presentable on camera tho lol

I have always wondered if it's possible to unf*ck MDF! I live in a college town so all the free, curbside furniture is at the end of the semester and it's always relatively cheap and usually broken. This gives me hope that I can give it new life! This is such an impressive video; I can't wait to see what else you've got on your channel!
Thank you Angie! Just remember you have to find a way to seal up the raw fibers or else it will just continue to soak up the paint. Figured glue would do the trick and it did lol
These turned out beautiful inspite of the damaged MDF. I refinished a side table made of MDF that had water spots on it. I wished I would have seen this video first. It would have saved me some frustration and prevented foul language. 🤫😆 I look forward to your next video!
There were two rings that swelled up quite a bit. I tried to sand it down but I couldn`t get a smooth surface which I believe that is common for MDF. I finally Googled it and saw a guy take a carpet knife, and cut out the damaged rings. Then he used plastic wood to fill it in and sand it down smooth. The table was a dark color with fake black wood grain in it. I thought "What the heck...I`m gonna see if I can get the same result with gel stain and hobby paint. It WORKED! I was so surprised and proud at the same time. I kept it for my spare bedroom because I didn`t feel right about selling it like that. I`m a new flipper so I learn from folks like you. You do amazing work. It`s good to practice some fancy schmancy art work stuff on a piece you don`t really care about. I got lucky and it worked. 😆
Thank you 😊 .The transition from the previous finish to the raw MDF was too much for us to ignore so we opted to essentially float out the damaged areas with wood filler to have a near factory finish😅 it’s either go 100% or don’t do it at all lol.

Love the flip. Love your drawer liner paper too!. I have the same sprayer. I luv it, but it does uplug easy because its short. So there is a little gadget out there i bought which holds them together.
Thank you! It doesn’t usually unplug in us because we tend to hold the cord when spraying so it minimizes the chance of the cord touching the painted piece. Still interested in the gadget tho!
