Love this! The darker knobs pop against the color!
That dresser is beautiful and looks very high end. Getting rid of those “loopty-loops” at the base really elevated it

lizhoward9754 Your comment "That dresser is beautiful and looks very high end. Getting rid of those “loopty-loops” at the base really elevated.it.” exactly matches my thoughts. .
I really like the contrast with the darker pulls. It turned out amazing, with lots of work you have done this dresser proud!
I love the dark knobs, I agree the contrast is so much nicer
I’ve really wanted to do this finish for a while but have been too intimidated and overwhelmed by all the different techniques online. This was a great straight forward tutorial, thank you so much!
It's really beautiful!! Timeless...black knobs look great. I'd leave em
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included th-cam.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Wonderful piece. Love the color and the dark knobs. Brava 👏
the darker knob! You teach me a lot!!!!!
Gorgeous!!
Definitely darker Home Depot knobs!
Oh my word, this dresser looks stunning. I also prefer the darker knobs on. :)
Solid, simple black (soft lines) hardware? Amazing finish on this! I live in a studio apartment (and probably always will)-thank you for thinking of those of us who have no space! 👏
Very beautiful transformation. I love the darker knobs
Love the darker handles on this piece. Well done as always!!
The dark knobs look best. That is a beautiful piece!
The darker pulls are amazing and the finished look is chef's kiss
Crazy!!!!!!!! Really GREAT JOB!!!!!!!! Looks very natural, exactly what I'm going to try and go for, thanks for the tutorial!!!!!!!!!
I prefer the lighter knobs myself. What a great project. You teach me so much. Thank you.
Dark knobs are my preference.
As always, you made the right call on the legs...it does look better straight. And I prefer the lighter hardware. Beautiful result.
Love that contrast with the dark knobs! Awesome job Katie!!! As always!
I love the natural wood look and the darker knobs add a nice finishing touch...beautifully done Katie!
Beautiful transformation. I love the darker knobs!
Ohhhh job well done Katie, I love love love it!
I really love the darker knobs 🙂
I'll be honest - I had my doubts but this is beautiful! I'm so impressed. Thanks for sharing this technique.
I really like the dark knobs!
This is truly a great beginner's friendly tutorial. Thank you!!!!
Absolutely beautiful! The black knobs makes the furniture piece look much better.
I love this project and how explicit is your tutorial. Thank you!
Great job Katie. Love the updated legs too. My preference would be lighter drawer pulls
The darker for sure. Great job as always. Thanks! I love it 🤗
Love the way this looks. Absolutely stunning! I like the dark knobs.
I love it and the darker pulls bring out the color better.
I am just in awe of your vision! Such a labor of love and looks incredible!!
Those darker knobs look the best!
Absolutely brilliant. You turned that into a beautiful piece of furniture. I liked the lighter draw knobbs.
I love the dark knobs! A beautiful job!!
Cutting the bottom skirt of the dresser and squaring it up really modernized it. That is a great tip! It looks amazing!
I really like the black knobs.. simply beautiful
Beautiful workmanship. Excellent explanations step by step without slot of Filler nonsense and sales pitches. Thank you!
The dark knobs are fine, and give it a (still) popular Farmhouse vibe, but I prefer the softer, subtle elegance of the brass knobs. They make it shine and dress up a classic shape.
Lovely transformation!
I agree ❤️
@@salvagedbykscott 🥰😊
I love the look! The dark handles look great! I saw this same look in Kirklands yesterday!!
It’s super popular at the moment!
Both sets of knobs look beautiful! Great job 👏
The darker knobs look great. I like this look of faux wood. I have used this finish before and enjoy the outcome. Your vids are nice... keep it up!
I really like this technique and love the dark knobs! Another beautiful project!!
Thank you so much
Like the darker knobs
Awesome job! The black knobs really bring it together.
Really love this dresser. One of favs!
It's beautiful! 🤩 I feel like fixing mine now. I have two pieces of furniture that are pretty worn out and want to make them look like wood. Thanks for the great video! 👍🏼
Quite frankly, I was very skeptical at first, you definitely nailed it! 👍
The darker handles! I will try this technique!
Great job, it looks like a real timber finish 😍 the black knobs make it pop
About 65 years ago my great uncle painted all the woodwork in his house, doors, trim etc., using a graining technique. I was so amazed as it looked like wood with knots and everything, and he showed me what he used. It was a small roller with a pattern on it that you just rolled over your wet top coat. I was a bit disappointed that it was so simple but it looked great, I can still see it in my mind's eye. It's the finished product that counts, right? 😊
More awesomeness Katie! I love the dark knobs.
it turned soooo beautiful!!! at the beginning I thought the lighters knobs but I have changed to the darker knobs, looking great!!!
Love the brass ones. I am definitely going to try this technique! Thanks for all your videos. I could watch you for hours
Prefer the dark ones. Love the way it looks
The finish remind of the blonde veneer on Mid Century furniture. Look great 👍.
Brilliant Katie. I liked both knobs. Lol
Wow!!! Absolutely loved this technique! This faux finish is amazing! I think the darker knobs work better than the lighter ones Great job and thanks for sharing !!
I think I prefer the darker pulls, I like the contrast of the light “wood” and the darker pulls. I’m going to try this technique on a small bookshelf that is so stained I can’t get it sanded down enough to stain it. It’s solid wood and I had envisioned keeping it wood, but had almost given up on that until I saw yours (and others) faux finish. Thanks!!!
I like the lighter pulls better. Thanks for the tips on how to do this paint technique
Turned out beautiful. Love this technique. Will have to give it a try.
I can’t believe this is painted! It looks so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this tutorial!
I have to tell you that I just went back and watch this again. I am blown away at the finished appearance of this dresser! It is on my to do list to paint my dressers- I have a long dresser like that one and a tall Chest of drawers- and I am totally doing this technique. I’ll use different colors most likely but I love the finished look of this!!
WOW!!!!! I am blown away from the realistic look of wood grain on this piece of furniture! Thank you so much for teaching us how it is done Katie! I really enjoyed learning! Love the transformation!
You have great artistic instincts Katie, so I would go with your first choice for the hardware!
Umm you had me at “If you don’t want to sand”. Love it!!
I really like the darker knobs
Katie, I always love your tutorials.
I love it! I like the darker knobs!
This is one of the best tutorials ever! Thank you:)
I love how you saved this piece of furniture from the dump! I appreciate your tutorial on this particular painting technique. You turned "trash" into treasure! Regarding the knobs, both colors would be great, but personally, I like the contrast of the darker ones, but either way you couldn't go wrong.,
Fantastic! I think the black knobs look great as you styled the piece with black accessories. I would have gone with the lighter knobs though if you'd had enough.
Dark knobs are a better contrast and shows your technique more imo.
Beautiful!!!
Brilliant work Katie.
Great job!! And I like the HD knobs!! 👍🏆
I was skeptical at first, but it came out beautifully 😍
WOW !! You took this dresser to a while new level. I love the wood look and the dark knobs really add to the piece. Thanks Katie for a great instructional video.
I wish i had your vision for old furniture pieces.
Whisk brooms work great too!
Saving this video! Awesome transformation! [I prefer the lighter knobs cuz I like low contrast; and they are so purdy!]
They are purdy 😜
One of the best results yet!
Omg it looks gorgeous. Thank you for showing this. I need to change my table to look like wood. It is laminated
👏👏👏 that looks amazing. You do incredible work. You just made another fan. I'm looking forward to watching all your videos and learn.
Lovely result, Katie. I think I like the Home Depot hardware best.
Another gorgeous piece. I *think* I like the darker knobs to add a bit of a contrast... but I have a feeling that your initial choice was probably right, and that if you go for the brass knobs, it will end up being really really muted but totally sophisticated... I wish I could see them on, as I bet you were right!
Thank you Katie from Australia. So good and what a fabulous finish. You have inspired me.
Love! Love the dark knobs
Love it! And my vote is the dark knobs..digging the contrast! Great job!
Wow! It came out beautiful!! The darker knobs look really good, but I personally like the look of the brushed brass better. Thanks for another great video. 👍
I am digging how you transformed the dated legs and skirting. Awesome idea. I like both knobs.....sorry, not sorry! LOL! I can't decide.
Gorgeous some of you are just beyond talent. I’m getting very good when I see the furniture pieces it has distinctive techniques and I can usually get it right. Kasha is so easy to spot and Crys’Dawna wow you know it’s her work spot on.
I think the darker knobs look really great stick with it
I love this transformation piece!
The darker knobs definitely have my vote 👍
Love it! Never considered modernizing those old maples by cutting off the curves. Great idea.
You did a great job on it. Very helpful for myself and I’m sure others as well . Thank you for making the video
It’s pretty. I like the dark knobs
I like the brighter knobs
Loved this look so much and this incredible technique!!!
Wow you’re AMAZING!!! I like either knob! You’re my new favorite TH-camr
