is the celica 1zz and 2zz engine weaker then a normal engine? im thinking about buying one. i heard that the block is made of aluminum, does that lower the performance?
I have a 2ZZ and that’s the motor I would recommend it’s way more fun but as far as aluminum goes most modern engines are made with aluminum blocks it doesn’t hurt to performance if anything it’s later but it can’t handle as much boost but on these cars you’re not gonna be building enough to worry about that anyway… The 1zz had some issues with the oil consumption
