Love your videos! Well you did really good with what you purchased. Well I haven’t done well at our stores. They ran some good sales however they said they were out. Also they do not give rain checks!! So to me that’s not good! Also the Winn Dixie said we’re sorry but we are out. Don’t know what is going on but that definitely isn’t good! So my daughter picked up necessities at Walmart!!! I really don’t know what is going on but it definitely isn’t good!! But I’m glad we are not in a bind and am using things we have stocked up on! We just haven’t had many good sales!! Well I will continue to watch the ads and hopefully it will get better!
No rain checks? That is frustrating! I know stores here don't seem to restock quickly - especially on certain sale items. It is so frustrating when that happens! Here is hoping the next round of sales is better stocked for you!

I was so excited to find many deals at Fry’s , a Kroger owned store, when I shopped today. I only go to Fry’s because the other stores aren’t grouped together to be cost effective in relation to gas prices.
Anyway, I saved 37% on my overall grocery haul. There were a lot of manager specials in the meat department, which was a blessing. There were even some sales that I wasn’t expecting in the dairy section. I came home very pleased with my shopping experience.

Happy birthday to you! We saw the eclipse in Indiana so did not buy very much in groceries but we spent way to much eating out. I am under budget this week intentionally as a way to balance our vacation. My deal of the week 18 count box of pumpkin tea for .50,I bought all that was left,only 3.

I just ran out of tomatoes & red peppers so I was thrilled that Ralphs here in Los Angeles county had 5x digitals on Peppers for .79 each (btw-they were huge!) and NaturesSweet Tomatoes (10oz) for 1.99 😊 I am currently growing both of these in my backyard garden too!

Our Food Lion often has deals in store that are not displayed in their sale ads. Our sales ads are disappointing as most on sale are ultra processed items
That is disappointing! I do like to wander the fresh produce and meat aisles for unadvertised sales and markdowns. Does Food Lion do that occasionally for you?
@joyfullythriving meat yes, produce and bread items go to a food pantry. I have found many great deals but you have to take time to walk up and down aisles which most people don't. I did get men's Gillette razors priced 6.99 with $3 off if download their coupon. My biggest savings this week. I look for sale items of what's on my list if possible

I’m stocking up on chips at Kroger for lunches and also saw scallops on sale for $8/lb there.
Kroger is my go to stock up place for chips for school lunches too! They do have the best sales on them! Too bad the bags keep shrinking though! 😜
My Aunt called me because a local store was selling Angus bottom of the round for $2.99 a pound instead of $8.99. Because I save a portion of my food bill for extraordinary sales each month and do not spend it on routine items, I bought about 30 pounds for the freezer. My freezer is now full.
Kroger didn’t excite me this week either.

Kroger has 5 lbs of russet potatoes for 2:99 and then you get one free( .30 a pound)
Nice! My Kroger has them priced at $3.49 and none free. Sigh. But I hope you grab some! That is a great price for potatoes!

Best deal this week was HEB bone in chicken breast 97 cents a pound no limit. 18 extra large eggs 4.22. Ouch. Great video.
Ouch on the eggs but great deal on chicken! I love to throw the bone in chicken breast in my slow cooker for easy protein. And I haven't seen a price that low in years! 😲
Going out tomorrow to chase a few more deals but not many things on my list. I have a free yogurt at one store, $0.99 laundry detergent, $0.99 hellmans mayo and free reusable bag. I also need more lettuce. I might just make a list of things to make around the house and get my errands done early. Coffee cake sounds yummy. 😁 great haul and glad you had fun with your mom.

Kroger is lame this week. Fresh thyme has salmon for 5.99/lb so I’ll stick up on that. They have some good fresh produce for 99¢ a pound too
