ya, please give Chaeryeong all the love she should get. Netziens still call her ugly and not worthy of beeing an Idol like her sister. She got called beeing ugly on her live Vlogs again and again. And you can see her getting upset and very sad about it in those VLOGs. We as international MIDSY's cannot take it. We do not rely on korean beauty standards and we see how beautiful our dancing queen really is. She is cute, she is gorgeous and she has every right to be one of the best dancers k-pop has ever seen up to date. Please help us to show her how beloved she is internationally.

Okay so *Yeji* is the leader (she has the first part of the chorus in Dalla Dalla with the big gold jacket). She has most of the lines because she's the strongest with live vocals but Chaeryeong is the most stable. *Yuna* is the youngest (the one you thought was the leader in Dalla Dalla, blonde in ICY). You can really see her grow up and she's improving every single comeback! I didn't expect her to get rap lines when they debuted but I really love how she can do it. *Lia* is the main vocal, you were right about that! But her voice really shines when she's singing alto notes, which we have yet to see in a title track. You can search up covers though (red dress in ICY). You also recognized *Chaeryeong* (green pants in ICY) and her sister Chaeyeon was in IZ*ONE! She's the main dancer but we haven't really gotten her in the center of a dance break yet. She really catches your attention during live stages though, you can't take your eyes off! *Ryujin* is the main rapper and center. She already had some live stages predebut too (dark hair with orange highlights in Dalla Dalla, pink hair in ICY).
In these MVs you can really see Yuna's development, especially in her rap. She had lots of pressure on her, debuting when she was 15, she has improved on her skills a lot since then.
I love how Ryujin has the rainbow shirt with "SMILE" because she's one of the biggest girl crush in K-pop, all the straight girls questionning their sexual orientation when meeting her 😍 I'm sure you'd like their personalities too, they're super fun and they all learned English to be able to communicate well with international fans!
something about itzy is that they have a REALLY strong dance line. 4/5 of the girls are really good dancers, and even the girl who is not in the dance line is a pretty average dancer. icy is my favorite because yuna (the blonde one) is so fucking charismatic that I did love the song (and you're right about chaeryeong!)
ITZY was originally kinda classed as "Teen Crush" concept (along with Weki Meki) due to the styling and lyrics of the songs. They're music kinda carried a similar message all the way up to like...I THINK "Not Shy." "Mafia In The Morning" is PROBABLY my favorite song by them. xD

Chaeyeon is also considered by many people to be the best female dancer in the 4th gen. On that note, I definitely recommend checking out IZONE at some point!

They are the kinda crazy, kinda obsessed type, and he is ignoring her. They talk about how it's a roller coaster, how the guy is making them crazy, the caterpillar, the chainsaw, the tnt... all images of a crazygirl... and then... the break where they are setting up a live performance, you notice they are all glaring up and out at the audience and when the music starts up again you pan back up to see the reflection of the dude looking out his window at "her" set up in the street. "you won't answer me, i'm comin to your house, you'll gotta see me then!!" Thus: LOCO AMUNDO!!! Chaeryeong does indeed have a sister and her name is Chaeyeon (Shes one year older) shes from a group called Izone but they unfortunately disbanded a few months ago due to them being a group created on a produce show (produce48) meaning that they were meant to be like a experiment/temporary group and they did absolutely amazing with the 2 years they were together, unfortunately they weren’t able to extend their contract because the majority of the members came from different companies and a few didn’t agree to extending the contract…. but I really hope to see an Izone marathon and I highly recommend Secret story of the swan, Fiesta, and Panorama:)

i like how honest you are and how unafraid you are to state your opinion. you don’t hear it alot like i love K POP but i also know that a lot of Korean artists and groups are mistreated or there are acts of favoritism when it comes to comebacks or solo projects like it’s not all it’s cracked up to be but still we try and focus on the happy aspect of it which is the music
I think the label for their old music was teen crush, it was definitely aimed for younger people. The newer direction is definitely more marketable overall. The nice thing about Itzy is they have a lot of English content and you can really connect with them, they are great girls honestly and hilarious to boot. Austin, if you are doing more marathons can I please recommend you check out Pixy, they are a new gg this year but already have 3 comebacks under their belt. A lot of Insomnias are really loving them as they are a darker concept group, I think as you like Dreamcatcher they could be up your alley and they really deserve everyone to know about them. "Addicted" "Wings" and "Bewitched" are all amazing.

I think for "Icy" they had diverse extras because they shot it in Los Angeles. Korea is a more homogenous society, so there would be significantly less racially diverse talent.

Their songs grew up with them! Their first three title tracks fit well with their age during that time. All three talking about accepting and loving yourself - self love. And starting from Not shy they started to talk about loving romantically, from being NOT SHY and being forward about liking someone to being foxy in Mafia to being obsessed in Loco. 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed them! Their live performances are always good, since you like Not Shy a lot, you should check out their stage practice video for Not Shy where they sang live while dancing. Their performances are always top notch. As for Bsides, yes their bsides are good. Their earlier releases are ver reminiscent to late 90s early 00s sound. 🥰 I personally really like nobody like you lol. But I’m sure you’ll find one you really like. They truly improved with their dance, vocals, everything! I’m looking forward to your possible Itzy journey. They have so many content, btw. So there's a little guide to the members. I'm not so sure abot their positions in the group, so it will be based more on my opinion and impression of them.
The one that you liked best is Chaeryeong. She's the main dancer, and yes, her sister is an idol (ex Iz*one) They are both so SO good at dancing.
The one that you thought was the leader is actually the youngest and her name is Yuna. She's good at rapping and dancing. Her confidence and charisma made me fall for her completly, so she's my bias.
For Lia you were right, she is the main vocalist. And as we all can see she's so beautifull. I'm pretty sure all of them can speak english, at least can hold a simple conversation (sorry for my english tho) but Lia is the best at it and speaks fluently (i think she lived in Canada)
The line (oasis for this kitty???!?) from Loco belongs to Yeji. She's the leader and i think the main dancer along with Chae. Well she's just Yeji. Idk what to say. She's great. Can do everything. She's rapping,dancing, singing, raising four kids and still can be a visual! I love Yeji. And the most important thing, she's Aaron's bias.
And the last but not least our coolest kid - Ryujin. She has short hair and does the coolest shoulder move in Wannabe. She's the rapper, dancer, center and the face of the group. The girlcrush of your girlcrush. Idk what else to say... She makes cookies that look like fried chicken.

i like how honest you are and how unafraid you are to state your opinion. you don’t hear it alot like i love K POP but i also know that a lot of Korean artists and groups are mistreated or there are acts of favoritism when it comes to comebacks or solo projects like it’s not all it’s cracked up to be but still we try and focus on the happy aspect of it which is the music

I think the label for their old music was teen crush, it was definitely aimed for younger people. The newer direction is definitely more marketable overall. The nice thing about Itzy is they have a lot of English content and you can really connect with them, they are great girls honestly and hilarious to boot. Austin, if you are doing more marathons can I please recommend you check out Pixy, they are a new gg this year but already have 3 comebacks under their belt. A lot of Insomnias are really loving them as they are a darker concept group, I think as you like Dreamcatcher they could be up your alley and they really deserve everyone to know about them. "Addicted" "Wings" and "Bewitched" are all amazing.

I think for "Icy" they had diverse extras because they shot it in Los Angeles. Korea is a more homogenous society, so there would be significantly less racially diverse talent.

Their songs grew up with them! Their first three title tracks fit well with their age during that time. All three talking about accepting and loving yourself - self love. And starting from Not shy they started to talk about loving romantically, from being NOT SHY and being forward about liking someone to being foxy in Mafia to being obsessed in Loco. 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed them! Their live performances are always good, since you like Not Shy a lot, you should check out their stage practice video for Not Shy where they sang live while dancing. Their performances are always top notch. As for Bsides, yes their bsides are good. Their earlier releases are ver reminiscent to late 90s early 00s sound. 🥰 I personally really like nobody like you lol. But I’m sure you’ll find one you really like. They truly improved with their dance, vocals, everything! I’m looking forward to your possible Itzy journey. They have so many content, btw. And just a little side note, all their title tracks have english and soon japanese versions! I want to say more but I’ll watch out for more Itzy content from you, sir!
