Tackling Turtle Ridge

I thought this footage was a goner, but I was able to bring it back to life! This is from a trip to, obviously, Turtle Ridge, from July 30, 2023.
It was my very first attempt at filming with my GoPro, and while much of the footage looks great, there were some hiccups. Like when the camera decided to 'speed up' above Sing Sing. Thank Goodness it behaved for that shot! (Too bad I didn't have it for the Debsconeags!)
What the footage doesn't show is how long a day it was. Turtle Ridge proved to be harder than I remembered, but we hiked every trail on both loops plus we tacked on almost 5 miles going in and out. The road walk back to the parking lot (the esteemed Katahdin View) just about killed me!
But luck was on our side: not one drop of rain. If you remember how wet 2023 was in Maine, that's saying something!!
