- Recently painted in Genesee & Wyoming's whisker scheme, and number after the year the railroad first began operations, GNWR C44-9W #1899 and a pair of other ex-BNSF Dash 9s led Buffalo & Pittsburgh's southbound manifest SIRI from Salamanca, NY and into Pennsylvania, the Keystone State, along the former Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh / Baltimore & Ohio mainline on a beautiful and hot early June morning!
