My daughter was 34 with a one year old son when her husband left her for another woman, she tried the dating thing like you it has not worked. she is now 52 lives alone, her son met a girl and moved away. she really feels alone, she does not live close to us or any family right now. but like you she is very independent, she leans on Jesus to carry her thru it all. I will pray for you, like I do for her. And please keep us posted on your life, I know there are haters out here, but there is people like me that really do care about you too.
I raised 5 kids by myself I didn't need anyone to help me I just worked provided for them and was mom and dad unfortunately they didn't have a good father but was better off without him your kids are fortunate to have a father that cares but you are doing great being a single mother it's hard but they always come first and it will be very rewarding when they are grown thanks for sharing your life with us

He made me a good living and he was a good stepdad and the best pawpaw that God ever sent down for our great grands. I say our because they were mine but he loved them beyond anything. I can really relate to the stuff you said about your brother. Sometimes, my brother would be living in a location I would know about. Others, he would go through multiple cell phones, places he was living, and states of mind. Drugs def was a factor but his drive to survive was too. I think they worked against each other and drugs ultimately won. I will pray for healing for your brother and that in time, he will find reasons to want to change for himself.
I needed to here this. Thank you. There is a lot of negativity towards me since my scheduled changed at work and it does hurt my feelings. I have large bibles at home but not a small one that I can carry to work with me. When I have some free time at work I get my King James new testament bible out of my bag and read it that I bought from Dollar Tree. I started from the beginning of the bible.
Yes girl, drugs are Satan, especially meth, I will continue praying for you and your family. I have the same thing going on in my family and its terrible. And it's my only sister. I've tried helping her so many times but she always fumbles the ball when she's on the one yard line. I can't keep hurting myself trying to make her better when she doesn't want to get better. You really touched my heart tonight listening to your heartfelt talking. Keep looking to God for direction. I will definately keep you in my prayers. Life is hard and God never promised us an easy life but he did promise to protect and love us. You have been blessed with four children. Take joy in the moments you spend with your children. I have been divorced for more than 20 years but have decided to make lemonade out of lemons. I started a quilting ministry in my church and make and give out quilts to hurting and sick people. They have printed scriptures on them to give people comfort. Our ministry gave out 150 of these quilts last year. You have a giving heart. Look to the Lord for direction in your life and you will find peace to move forward. We do all want to be loved but sometimes that love has to come from people we least expect it to come from. Being in a bad relationship is much worse than being alone with peace in your heart. I love my bible study at church where we women pray for each other as well as study the bible. Consider getting involved in a women’s bible study. The women in my bible study group are exceptional ladies who are always available to pickup ladies when they need encouragement. You are a very special woman, and your faith in God will keep you sane in this insane world. May God bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

When I partied with my friends. I am very independent woman and when it was my time to buy, I bought my round. When my 3rd husband ask me for our first date, I told him that I would meet him in my own car so if you get unhappy during the date then I can get in my car and go home. Being independent woman is a good thing
I'm 41 and met my partner two and a half years ago when I was in the midst of hell essentially...he's younger but one of the most mature people I've ever been with. Good people are still out there

I can really relate to the stuff you said about your brother. Sometimes, my brother would be living in a location I would know about. Others, he would go through multiple cell phones, places he was living, and states of mind. Drugs def was a factor but his drive to survive was too. I think they worked against each other and drugs ultimately won. I will pray for healing for your brother and that in time, he will find reasons to want to change for himself.
I needed to here this. Thank you. There is a lot of negativity towards me since my scheduled changed at work and it does hurt my feelings. I have large bibles at home but not a small one that I can carry to work with me. When I have some free time at work I get my King James new testament bible out of my bag and read it that I bought from Dollar Tree. I started from the beginning of the bible.
Yes girl, drugs are Satan, especially meth, I will continue praying for you and your family. I have the same thing going on in my family and its terrible. And it's my only sister. I've tried helping her so many times but she always fumbles the ball when she's on the one yard line. I can't keep hurting myself trying to make her better when she doesn't want to get better. You really touched my heart tonight listening to your heartfelt talking. Keep looking to God for direction. I will definately keep you in my prayers. Life is hard and God never promised us an easy life but he did promise to protect and love us. You have been blessed with four children. Take joy in the moments you spend with your children. I have been divorced for more than 20 years but have decided to make lemonade out of lemons. I started a quilting ministry in my church and make and give out quilts to hurting and sick people. They have printed scriptures on them to give people comfort. Our ministry gave out 150 of these quilts last year. You have a giving heart. Look to the Lord for direction in your life and you will find peace to move forward. We do all want to be loved but sometimes that love has to come from people we least expect it to come from. Being in a bad relationship is much worse than being alone with peace in your heart. I love my bible study at church where we women pray for each other as well as study the bible. Consider getting involved in a women’s bible study. The women in my bible study group are exceptional ladies who are always available to pickup ladies when they need encouragement. You are a very special woman, and your faith in God will keep you sane in this insane world. May God bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

He goes to Church faithfully also ... so don't give up on him which I know you have not. My bro shot Herion for years and years ....and look at himself..praise God he is good and Married to the same woman with whom he and her would do drugs and she is a CNA so People can change. wanted to share my story and hope it helps .

Wow that is something that men act like that in their late 30’s early 40’s. It absolutely happens with men in their late 50’s early 60’s. I’ve been widowed for 6 years and just got online for dating. Good Lord! It’s strange nowadays. On one date, I was supposed to meet him in front of the restaurant. He said he was there, but when I walked up I didn’t see anyone that looked like who I was supposed to meet. Dishonest right off the bat.
