  • Caravanning In France. Getting your caravan on a ferry can be a daunting prospect if it's your first time. Watch our video and you'll be confident you know what to do before you get there. Getting an 8-metre twin axle caravan onto a cross channel ferry at Dover. OK, it's 7.92 meters...
We board the ferry at Dover with our caravan in the earlier hours of the morning, on our way to the South of France.

Love that excitement of getting on the ferry at Dover, although we’ve never done it with a caravan! Amazes me all the Romanian registered Sprinter vans you see on the ferries, what on earth are they all doing?! Great vid 👍🏻

Not sure what they’re doing but often see customs pulling them to one side..Graham
