I am Ahtisa stan and I really want her to win. When she came out of the gown… I didn’t feel the crown for her.
And Bulacan really stood out last night. She’s the only candidate in my opinion who didn’t do too much yet very classy and elegant.

Well you can't be a judge. Ahtisa lack the communication skill, not beautiful. Yes light skin but she has no poise uniqueness beauty to be the Miss UP 2024 winner.
Overall, observe her smile is purposely show. It is not natural
No it is not perfect answer. Again you can not be an effective judge.

Maganda (excellent) ang sagot mo, pero siguro medyo may kaba sa mga contestants kasi napakaikli ng oras, di makapag-isip agad. Maybe you took your time formulating your answer (I say that very respectfully ha), but Ahtisa does not have that luxury. Unless siguro katulad ni Catriona who is a native English speaker, we Filipinos raised here in the Philippines need a little time to organize our thoughts.
So ayun nga, ito ngang reply ko sa iyo mga 2 minutes kong inisip, kaya ko naman sumagot ng maayos, pero iisipin kong maigi muna. Ganoon din siguro si Ahtisa. 😀

Because you all joined the bandwagon, instead of waiting for the final performance. The judges were independent so they chose someone who was not popular but possessed all the qualities of a queen. The colonial mentality of choosing a mestiza is still so prevalent in the Filipino psyche, thus forgetting that exotic beauty is the embodiment of many Filipinas. I am from South America, and here, the creole (mix of black and white) are as Latinas as the fair-skinned ones.

She entered the competition with her natural look and vibe, and she sustained that same level of greatness throughout.

For me, not being bias: first of all athisa was a fan favourite to win the crown. She has the look, beauty, body, charm, classy ... she had it all. Despite being fan favourite and she is the contender to win due to Muph standard and never in history any dark skin contestant ever to win the crown.
I fell tht her performance was great... but chelsea performance was impactcable and great. She stood out bright through all the night. She was calm and give her all. She was underdog and judges see her true potensial and crown her that night.
I can fell chelsea is a genuine heart and beauty. I think she will represent n doing well in mexico and bring back the 5th crown for the philipine.

There is no downgrade. My take on this Miss U Ph 2024 result is, the Miss U organization want every single pageant, like everrrry single pageant to be won by the Philippines and they want these other 4 pageants to be relevant to every one, that is why they put the Miss U Ph front runners for the Miss U Ph corwn to be in the Miss Eco International, Miss Charm, Miss Cosmo Ph and Miss Supranational! The Miss U Ph organization wants every single pageant to be won by the Philippines that is why they put there only the best. If there is a downgrade of anything which I feel not, the pageant that the Miss U Ph is downgrading could have been the Miss U itself, because of JKN's expose with regard to the inclusive candidates. But I know they picked one of the best newbie in Miss U Ph history, a Black-Filipino which is Miss Bulacan, because she delivered magnificently, and when I watched again Miss Bulacan's whole coronation night performance, I now see why she won. Her smile, the way she answers, the way she moves but mostly her captivating smile that got her the crown, and she reminds me of Miss Botswana of 1999 and Miss Jamaica during the Miss U 2017 edition in which Demi-Leigh won. She has full of appeal and stage presence. She will be get it, the Miss U 2024 crown!!!

Her beauty is mestiza which is common to be seen nowadays also her final question and answer although truthful but the conviction is not that impactful comparing to other top 5 candidates. her contenders outshined her during q and a round and I saw it as one of probably potential factors that affect her chance of winning. Her beauty fits for Either Miss international nor Miss World..

stones can be turned after all. Now we all know popularity doesn’t mean CROWN. Both Manalo and Brooks lost a bit of their sparkles. Then Manalos answers in all q&a wasn’t that amazing it was great but not that amazing just my opinion on the other hand Brooks gown is beautiful but the color doesn’t seem like befitting on her. the gown on big screen looks really nice however I felt like the color wasn’t for Brooks. again these are just my opinion.

It was Ahtisa's to lose, I feel like she started off strong in the swimsuit, dipped a little bit in the evening gown (even though that was still super strong and elegant) and the Q&A portion let her down (honestly this year's Q&A was a letdown compared to Michelle Dee's answer last year). Her answer had hints of Celeste's sentimentality talking about family and her grandmother and being taught life lessons from female family members, and she tried to give a bit of Miss Universe Thailand Anntonia's response about trying to always give back to the community and being kind, but as you stated, she didn't summarise and close her response strongly enough and that's why she didn't win unfortunately.

We can’t deny that she’s the prettiest in 2024…and in binibini 2018 arguably but Her performance in binibini was way better… and after 6 years and an international experience she was considered a pageant veteran but still there is no to minimal improvement to her pasarela and q and a skills..
Her pasarela was tentative and looks forced, unatural, she doesn’t glide
When she answer q and a. She always do not answer the question and she does not use impactful statements.. .sincerity is also missing
As what Bulacan does… her choices of words make us want to listen to her and full of sincerity with full of grace..
I was not a fan of Bulacan but when I saw her on her money pose in her gown, she was glowing, everything about her screamsss muph.
And during the moment that cainta and Bulacan is left when the camera angle is at her back …. Then I realize what they saw on her she was destined for it…
Because vvv and Anita’s glow and stage presence during prelims was lost during finals and she took everything…
Felt bad for Anita- she should have stick with her hair up…
vVV- I felt that she is uncomfortable during her gown.. maybe because her undergarment is not place properly it was notleveled on left to right… and her hair was tied up too high,😢
Anyway there is still next year for their redemption.

She was the one to beat. Why didn’t MUP have a Top 3 with a common final question, like the MU? The questions in the Top 5 were arbitrary. Bulacan’s question had a wider scope for a response compared to Ahtisa’s question (very common question with predictable answers). With a response like Chelsea’s, they had to crown her. If they didn’t, the fans would accuse the Selection Committee of being unfair. A final question is the right way to reach a decision. The playing field is even, easier to judge & fair.

I have heard from pageant judges that in natural pageant systems like Miss Universe, the dragging of the feet as you walk, gets points lost. She dragged her feet alot in gown, and would have lost valuable points. It's only a few points that separate the top 5. You can do a small dragging of a foot once as a feature but you can't walk with a dragging of feet consistently. I also think that athisa does not have that magnetism behind her eyes that the universe winners require. Look at sheyniss, she is very kind and gentle but she commands any room that she walks in to - that natural charisma and magnetism is what they need for miss universe.

@@domystic20 Sheynnis did not drag her feet in gown at all. Also, she only did a slide of her one foot after a turn in swim. So this was a signature move. Her actual walk was exactly according to the rules. Ahtisa dragged both feet, the whole time in gown and that is why I think she lost points.

She is someone who is an embodiment of a great woman.
As a woman, I came prepared after years of realization, that it's time for me to continue to spread kindness to as many people as possible, I am aware this is a natural lifelong commitment.
