It is not a surprise that this pageantry already acquired 73 country participants, due to MUO drama and it's relationship to countries that they've made enemies with. These countries are fed up with MUO and joining a new beauty pageant that will be a competition to MUO, is a breath of fresh air.
MS. UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION......Is now DEAD and HISTORY. GONE with the OLD tarnished MU and now embrace the NEW.

This pageant looks very promising, with the production of it's launch speaks a lot on how they can top or even produce the same level of final's night production as like the big 4. I think this will be the best beauty pageant we could ever have.

For sure, they will produce at a far higher level than Miss Earth, International, World and Supra....all those are boring as heck and terrible. I will even say it will be better than Miss Universe and soo be on par with Miss Grand in production but without the drama.
Sustainability is KEY; you may start with a flashy bang, but do you have the substance to last the very long run. It will be smart of the pageant to focus on woke issues like 'sustainability', 'empowerment', 'world peace'. They will also be smart to crown a Big Sash Country as its inaugural winner (e.g. Philippines, Thailand, Colombia, South Africa... probably not Vietnam, as the host country).
It feels like I am going to vietnam to watch the first edition if miss cosmo to support our bet

@danielito3766 You can only make that statement if they fail to deliver their promises after the competition and after the first year reign of the first winner. That's why i said it is "promising." I've watched their first edition of Miss Cosmo Vietnam. The production was comparable to MU finals. So, I would give them a chance to deliver their vision for the organization.
@@SpedUpSongs2007 Don't worry about that! The investor behind the organization is super rich and one of the most well-known corporations in Vietnam with enormous financial potential.
This guy used to be the franchise holder of Miss Universe Vietnam. I heard that when MUO was being offered for sale, this group placed a bid to buy the org, but Anne JKN got it. MUO then took the MU Vietnam franchise away from them.
It would be fair if the Vietnamese owner took it over

Now I know why Halu took away the franchise from Vietnam because he's a huge competition to Halu. Sad that IMG sold MUO to Halu and now it's filled with controversies and bankruptcy. Miss Cosmo is starting fresh and with a huge budget.

@@SpedUpSongs2007 unlike a lot of other pageants, they are not one company. they are a part of a HUGE conglomerate in Vietnam (think Samsung in Korea for example). they clearly have the money (as they even tried to buy the whole MUO). budget is not a problem for them. you're right that it's not a business - it's a part of a whole business ecosystem. not shown here but in the press conference, the owner of the bank behind them said they already had plan for development many years down the roads.

Granted, she's not even alll that and won;t be the prettiest one in the competition. Why don;t u give credit where credit is due where this organization is already well-established and well known. And that they have staged the Miss Unvierse Vietnam competitions and the Miss Universe competition before that has few rivals (maybe Thailand).

I'm just being real that Ahtisa's popularity added hype in the launch. Her arrival alone separates her from the rest of the invited candidates, she already draw crowd and even asked her for her signature, I didn't see that in other girls, though I wish them great too.

You know pageant sites and pageants in general are biased and favors the Filipino because of the ingrained popularity of pageants in the whole country. Yes pinky’s have added interest to the pageant bi doubt and I’m not doubting her and she will be a good one if she wins. I’m just pointing out how certain pinky’s are taking credit of her joining to make this pageant relevant. This pageant will garnered a lot more interest as the Latin countries start to appoint their girls and once fans see the activities and events. Just look at cosmo media team. Their media reels are already better than other pageants in creating hyped clips
I'm Vietnamese and you're correct. Ahtisa brought A LOT of hype from international AND local fans (and a lot of jealousy too - nobody expected a 1st runner up of MI would participate in a first time pageant). Please continue to follow and support Miss Cosmo, it has the potential to become the next big thing, and you know they ACTUALLY have the budget and people to support the vision (unlike *cough*MissCharm*cough*)

Cosmo world is based in Malaysia. Cosmo intl based in Vietnam.

Ahtisa must focus now on having more confidence and more command as a public speaker. Miss SA Cosmo is a motivational speaker. Ahtisa's team should have her on motivational speaking engagements and she needs to speak in English only from now on. The base of Cosmo is Vietnam so she can't use the Tagalog language in interviews and public speaking.

Ahtisa is so strategic. She played her cards right. She knows the value and ROI behind Miss Cosmo. If Miss Cosmo is smart, they'll crown Ahtisa to build up the momentum and gain fandom across the world. Knowing that PH is the heart of beauty pageants (this can be argued obviously), they need to align with a country that will continuously help with the fan base. The next step is conquering the Latin countries (I feel like MGI has a strong foot print on the Latin countries already), but we shall see!

When you say top four major international beauty pageant you have to also consider how long they been an organization so definitely would not fall into the four major at least not yet they don’t have a track record yet so the four major are Miss world, Miss universe Miss international and Miss Earth Yes, this are the four oldest beauty international organization.

LUIS PORTELLES......It is not that ATHISA chose the TITLE, she was appointed. She wasn't hurt when she didn't win MU because I believe it was already prearranged between her and MUP that she will be appointed to MS. COSMO because she will have a better chance to grab the title and plus her reward and winnings is much more than what MUO has to offer.
She will be known in history as the 1st winner of MS. COSMO if she wins. OVER ALL, this will be a WIN, WIN for ATHISA.

UNIMEDIA is actually RICH RICH (unlike the broke owner of Miss Charm), they even had the budget to buy the whole MUO (but sadly didn't happen), so I have no doubt that they will pull out all the stops to make the first edition a success. Expectations are sky high, there are a lot of room for errors in the first one, but I have faith in them. I don't expect Miss Universe level of production and quality right off the bat, but it should be more interesting than MI or MW for sure.
