I own a Stabicraft 2050 here in Jupiter Florida and yes it's a tank of a boat on rails. It can definitely take more of a beating than you'll ever want to be in, and get you back home. 2250 is definitely my next step up once I can afford one.
@alaefarmestatesllc It all depends on if you want it new or used and in what condition and if you are willing and able to restore it if need be. The aluminum on stabicraft boats is excellent and will last you a lifetime with little maintenance but just like on any boat in saltwater yo will have things to fix like paint, seals and a little electrolysis here and there. But it's not like your having to replace and entire deck or transome because of wood rot or fiberglass failure. Truly, if they were not named Stabicraft, they should be named Lifetime boats because the boat will truly outlast you. For new pricing and used, check out the dealers in Oregon and Washington.
That's great that you were able to buy #001, I was on that boat at the Seattle Boat Show earlier this year, that's an awesome boat. Interesting that you have it fitted with a Yamaha 300 as I thought Boat Country only sold Honda Outboards, BTW that is a perfect combination.
A lockable rear wall is a optional extra on the Alpha Offshore and Sportfish packages, we have one going through the factory soon, so will be able to show it in future videos and photos. stabicraft.com/assets/Uploads/Model-Brochures/2250UCC-ALPHA.pdf
