I love it when a manufacturer has the confidence to show off their new boat in the nasty sea states. What is the point of showing of a big boat in flat water? Are they scared of the truth? Stabicraft lead by example. I wish I was able to afford one of these beasts.
Thanks for the appreciation of the video! To be fair this was a nightmare to film, most people film flat water because of the limitations of the camera equipment, I missed some massive jumps and waves because I was being thrown around so much and the camera gear got smashed with sea water. Will have to do a behind the scenes on the next one to show what it's like behind the lens! - Mike
My buddy has a 2250 with 2ft extenders. He takes us US military veterans out on his boat every season for albacore, halibut, salmon and other species. It’s a blast. I go on other boats too, I live in Newport Oregon, so fishing is life here...and nothing beats a Stabi, PERIOD! I was in the Navy and stationed with the Marines on Zodiacs, so bad ass boats are my thing!
As someone who has owned many Zodiac RIBs and now owns a Stabicraft 2050, I strongly concur. Stabicraft is truly the 4x4 of the sea. It is literally a RIB that will never puncture or sun rot and very low maintenance. Also the gas mileage is much better than a RIB. I run an entire off shore fishing trip with 15 gallons!! Other fiberglass boats that compare in handling because of their size are burning upwards of 50 gallons for the same trip.
Awesome job Stabicraft! We love love our 2019 model year 2050 Supercab. No doubt, this new version rates even better! Matt, I can send barber funds if you're short. Rowan, we all noticed that your' fish was much bigger! Thank you both for bringing so much fun to the video. Can't wait to see more details on this new beauty from Stabicraft!!!
Hi guys I'm from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and I'm very much impressed with your awesome and fantastic fishing machines, in Trinidad 98% of our pleasure and fishing crafts are fiberglass hulls, but these machines that you all produce is out off this world, I hope you all can open a dealership in close proximity
Is there tour of the boat vid? -showing the bells and whistles etc I was on an older stabi about 15km off Rarotonga -rough seas felt very safe very tough
More videos with the boat on the way, it's heading up the South Island of New Zealand to get tested by a bunch of owners of various old & new Stabicraft!
@@CLee-qh3er Flown over them...luckily the DC8 didn't need to land in them and we didn't need to check the scuppers on the aircraft... The surf waves are truly impressive I will admit...loved watching surfing vids from Hawaii in the 1960's...

i always wondered why no one in hawaii is running these boats. there must be a reason but i dont see why people would spend all this money on a fiber glass when they could get aluminium
Probably due to the logistics of buying and then shipping to Hawaii, We don't currently have a dealer in Hawaii only mainland USA, we have owners in the Marshall Islands who have bought from a New Zealand dealer and had shipped, we are expanding globally so only a matter of time our boats get to Hawaii.
Alright I give in I take the silver one It is probably cheaper to I know the orange is expensive to paint plus I can put gas in it when it shows up mate bloody sure I got my boater license to mate ! Top of the morning to down under Timmy c Bristol ct 💯😎
Rode in one. The seas were a little rougher than in this video. It was amazing. So are the Kiwis. 🤟
Never mind the boat, how's that magnificent scenery!!!! NZ is such a beautiful country.
Incredible. The boat, the scenery everything.

@@jejoko 2ft cages built into the boat. Really helps when you’re fishing and got 5 guys on the boat and everyone’s on fish!

Cabin forward design, brilliant.
Great little boat and I love the orange color. 👍

You only need one good engine....
9hp Johnson in the cabin as an aux will get you home (just kidding)
Way overpriced. But nice advertising
